A lot of players comment on how Edward always kicks down doors. The reason he kicks them is when testing the doors I didn't have an animation ready for opening them normally so I used a kick as a placeholder, but after a while it just felt fun(nier) to always kick the door down.

If you work with games that separate areas with doors you can interact with then you can also use them for occlusion. Here for example I added the "isOpen" bool from the door as a requirement for the occlusion system when it checks if the room is visible

When I play Splatoon, I consistently have an issue where my controller gyro fights me and moves left or right by itself, as shown in the clip. When I get the opportunity to work with a hitter, inevitably the first thing to clean up is how they interact with the ground. Usually, when they land their lead foot, they’ve already begun to swing. I’ll ask them “I want you to do your stride, then when you land, stop” I then ask, while they hold their strike position: “could you do a squat from there?” It’s usually an obvious “no” I like to use this image and clip I made of Cal via Craig Hyatt ‘s timeline (his timeline is a treasure trove of video) Cal could easily do a squat or jump up in the air from here.
