In my NFL and orthopedic experience, no knee dislocation done within the first 24 hours is definitive and final. Medically, I still believe Tyreek Hill will require additional surgeries, despite his agent's public announcement.

Tank Dell suffered one of the worst orthopedic injuries you can suffer - a dislocated knee. Usually this leads to 2-4+ ligaments being torn, often including the ACL. These are extremely difficult injuries to return from, especially at a high level like the NFL expects. Here Tank is working with Dr. ‘Reef’ Tabbah in South Florida on his knee. It’s unclear if he will be effective this season, but I’m excited to see how much progress he made. Tyreek Hill is attempting to return from the same severe injury.

Nearly 24 hours later, I'm still coming to terms with the fact that one of the last physical connections to my childhood sports fandom will soon no longer exist. The new stadium will be nice, but every memory I will have there will be as an adult. The place where I saw my first game in 1987 and the physical connection to that and the hundreds of other moments I experienced in that building will be gone forever.
