Caller : “I am 65 years old and have made poor financial decisions throughout my life. I have no substantial savings my wife has about $10,000 in her 401k, and I have a couple thousand, I have two credit cards, a car loan, and a mortgage. Total debt, including the mortgage, is $137,000. Dave Ramsey: “Whats the mortgage detail?” Caller: “The mortgage is a 15-year fixed rate, set up for half a payment every two weeks, which means in a year I've made 13 payments instead of 12. Since we have no retirement plans, I'm trying to determine the best way to proceed to eliminate all debt.” Dave Ramsey: “What's the balance on your mortgage?” Caller: “115,000” Dave Ramsey: “how long into the 15 year?” Caller: “8months” Dave Ramsey: “Okay. So, it's brand new mortgage Well, doing a bi-weekly, you'll reduce the 15 to about 11 just on the bi-weekly thing that you're doing that that has the same effect of paying an extra payment a year.” “You've got $22,000 in other debt are you guys still working? And what you make?” Caller: “yes sir, the two of us together make about $105,000, first time we surpassed $100,000” Dave Ramsey: “Good news. I would just leave the biweekly mortgage alone and let it run. Let’s work the Baby Steps. “Your $1,000 starter emergency fund is already there. Baby Step 2 is listing your debts from smallest to largest. You have $22,000 in non-mortgage debt, and you need to have that paid off in under a year.” Caller: “I can have all of my unsecured debt, excluding the mortgage and the car, paid off in three months.” Dave Ramsey: “At least $2,000 a month needs to go toward your debt, not counting the house. That’s $24,000 a year. With what you’ve shared, you can be completely out of non-mortgage debt within a year.” “You’ll have plenty of room in your budget, so I want you living on beans and rice, rice and beans for one year. By age 66, you’ll be debt-free except for the house, Then you’ll build an emergency fund with three to six months of expenses. After that, you’ll focus on paying off the house and building your retirement nest egg.” “By around age 72, you’ll probably have about $200,000 saved for retirement, your house will be paid off, and you’ll be completely debt-free. You’ll just need to keep working for a while cause your broke.” “As long as your health allows you to do that, it’s what we're going to do, work those baby steps exactly the way they're laid out.”

Dan Bongino says he and Kash Patel made so many important changes at the FBI that whoever comes in next and tries to reverse them will leave a massive paper trail. He then dropped a major hint for what's coming: “That Comey indictment, if you think that was the end, you're out of your mind.” BONGINO: “We have made enough dramatic changes. We put a TON of new FISA rules in place.” “I mean, Kash and I were on FISA probably three, four times a week in special meetings just for that.” “I brought in a lawyer just for FISA to go over that stuff.” “We put in new guardrails, new penalties, we reorganized the place so that intel was more manageable and you couldn't hide pockets of intel.” “They're going to have to change what we did, which is going to create a paper trail, that I'm warning them, say it changes back to us again, we're going to find again.” “So good luck!” “We did a MASSIVE amount of change.”
