GREAT Album...one of my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE Sabbath LPs - still in my regular rotation to this day: "Country Girl" is a hauntingly beautiful yet HEAVY AF Masterpiece imho that NEVER gets mentioned...the elusive perfect Rock Song with Light/Shade and Melodic Tension and all that... I'd put that Song up there with such memorable works as "Whole Lotta Love", "Black Dog", "Child In Time", "Bargain", "Love Reign Oer Me", "Gimme Shelter"...RIP Mr. Ronnie James Dio. 🤘

Why the 737 landing gear lever has an “OFF” position ✈️ It’s a question I get asked quite often and understandably so! “OFF” isn’t a logical position for the landing gear! The landing gear is retracted into the belly of the aircraft using hydraulic pressure. Once the gear is fully up, mechanical uplocks hold the gear safely in position. However, with the lever in the UP position, hydraulic pressure is still being applied to the system. This is unnecessary now that the gear is being held up with mechanical latches and places extra demand in the hydraulic pumps. So, once the gear has been retracted, the pilots will move the gear lever from UP to OFF as part of the after takeoff checklist. This simply removes hydraulic pressure from the retract lines. When the pilots configure the aircraft for landing, we move the landing gear lever from OFF to DOWN. This action releases the mechanical up locks and the gear is lowered using a combination of hydraulic pressure, gravity and air loads. Once the gear is fully down and locked, a green light - one for each set of wheels, will illuminate. Should the primary gear down sensors fail, we have a second set of green, gear down indicators on the overhead panel. As long as the gear is indicating down and locked on either the primary or standby indicator, the gear is down and locked and safe to land on 👍 In the very unlikely event that the gear won’t lower normally using the landing gear lever, we have a standby gear lowering system which allows the crew to manually release the gear uplocks and allow gravity to lower the gear - see my reel showing that system in operation . Remember right after President Trump's first inauguration, all those screaming people with printed signs & pink hats? Then we got BLM. And then Antifa, all outfitted in uniforms & riot gear. We always wondered where they got the money for that. Well, it's starting to look like they got that from us, taxpayer money from the Federal government. It's an absolute scandal. I think we've scratched the surface of this corruption.

We are now procuring from the Europeans—whereas before, we would have just gone to the United States as usual to buy gear. We’re not buying gear from the United States. We don’t know where Trump is going to go. I know in the Canadian media they don’t want to talk about that—they don’t want to sound hysterical. But when you’re seeing a president of the United States setting up concentration camps and bragging about people being eaten by alligators—people whose only “crime” was being picked up by ICE—then the idea that we can trust them at our border is simply not on. We have to start getting ourselves ready for what could be the next part of the playbook.

I wrote the beat and stuff when I was a trainee. It was released after we debuted. I actually wrote the melody and the lyrics when I was in hospital, after my appendix burst. The song itself has a hopeful tone. I really love this song. I’m not saying it’s my absolute favourite. But I keep thinking about it.”
