In October 2020, Doom Eternal added a hidden "DOOG" Easter egg referencing Korone but later on it was removed and they said "it will live on in infamy".

I still wonder why it got removed... just a temporary joke I guess? "I'll put a Korone easter egg and remove it after a bit, no one will know" type thing?

That is one of the possibilities Some said it was because of "Doog" copyright or higher ups said to remove it.

Yeah, the DOOG easter egg may have lasted less than a week after the DLC came out. On October/20 (?) it'll be five years since it got released

Around this time or so is when I got a laptop capable of playing the game. I can’t remember if I saw this Easter egg in-game myself after hearing of it but I did know about Korone at this point thanks to her love of Doom & a few months later (February or so) I began watching her.

Every time i see the fireplace background ny mind instantly goes to the OkaKoro rap xD

Why did they make an easter egg like that where it appears on the players face. As usual a lot of players who dont know Korone will be confused or get mad. It shouldve been a sticker or a figure instead.

If I remember well, there was a pet product company called DOOG that filed a complain.
