Some people out there keep spreading rumors, saying that LingLing doesn’t care about little Orm, or that she sometimes ignores her, claiming that in this relationship, Orm is the one who gives more. 🙏🤧 But honestly, if you look closely, Ling isn’t the kind of person who easily shows her emotions. She does care about Orm, in her own quiet way, by remembering all the little things related to her ( you could already see that from the start of their collaboration ), LingLing isn’t very talkative, she expresses herself through actions instead. Orm Kornnaphat spent her early years hesitating about how to begin a story with Lingling Kwong: "I was scared because she was a quiet person. She looked reserved and hard to approach. If I did this or that, I didn't know whether she would be annoyed." Orm Kornnaphat spent 5 years without a single project together with her, without interactions, without being close, without seeing each other for entire years, without even the slightest point of connection. And then, look at what she did for Lingling Kwong: - Every year on her birthday, there would always be a birthday wish "Happy birthday P'Ling". Simple, nothing more and nothing less. - Every anniversary of channel 3, she would invite her to eat together. - She would go all the way to her younger brother's restaurant, even though food wasn't really her favorite and the trip was far, just simply because she wanted to "support a colleague"? A colleague who wouldn't even hear about that thoughtfulness directly until years later? - She would pray and make promises of offerings, just for the chance to act alongside that colleague. Even though the odds were slim she stayed devoted to her own heart. Normally people pray for romance hoping to meet the right person in their life, but for Orm it was different. From the very first meeting with Ling she already knew. Her prayer was never vague. If it was not P’Ling then it could not be anyone else. Later when success finally came this secret stayed hidden until Orm revealed it herself. She even performed a dance of gratitude for a wish that once felt almost impossible to come true. One meeting turned into years of quiet longing. A young girl just stepping into adulthood met someone she loved at first sight. No one loves someone for that long when they only get to see her twice a year, no one goes out of their way to support her by visiting her younger brother’s restaurant even when it is completely out of the way and Ling never even knew. No one remembers what the other person wore or the color of their clothes at the first meeting and still remembers it perfectly years later unless they truly kept it in their heart, no one keeps a photo from a shared acting class for that many years without deep feelings. 😭 All of this makes you wonder if anyone other than Orm Kornnaphat could be this sincere. She tested for both Earn and Fahlada, and ended up being pre-cast as Fahlada. - Ling and Orm ran into each other at a fashion show and chatted. Nong Orm told P'Ling she was going to audition, but Ling didn't tell Orm that Ling had auditioned too, and that Ling was actually the one playing Fahlada.👀 - Orm went to the first round of auditions but still didn't know which role she’d get. (Maybe this was when Orm secretly went to make a vow?) - The channel called actresses in for a second round of auditions to find 'Nong Earn' by pairing them up with Ling, but they still couldn't find the right one... until they called Orm in as the very last person. - Ling, who was already locked in as Fahlada, chose Orm (the last person) because when they acted together, sparks immediately flew. After that, Lingling started to become noticeably bolder. Not long after, we got that unforgettable kiss on national TV. From being awkward with Orm’s touch and unsure how to respond, Lingling turned into the clingiest one 😭 From saying, “She has a lot of opportunities to meet new people,” to confidently declaring, “Orm already has everything. What she might need is someone by her side and that someone is ME.” There’s honestly so much more to mention, but watching their growth has been such a joy. One of my favorite moments was when Lingling was asked, “What kind of person makes your heart flutter?” and she described Orm, someone good looking, tall, fair-skinned, and her safe zone.
