@DSkeltonRacing @WorldPool @nickluck He’s absolutely bang on with what he’s saying and fair play for him to speaking on it, 2 biggest days of jumps racing and can’t reap all the rewards of being a owner, being forced to choose 1 or the other , fair play dan

@DSkeltonRacing @WorldPool @nickluck If we left it up to Dan, he’d move the Cheltenham festival to the same weekend as the DRF He isn’t thinking about the sport, he’s thinking about himself When was the last time Dan took one over to Ireland? *Just checked, less than 20 runners since 2014*

Absolute nonsense. Biggest myth in racing. Laying horses that back up the next day after a win is the quickest way to the poor house. Look at Galway and Ayr festivals where horses routinely win multiple races. It is an advantage for most horses to have had a recent run, a big advantage to have had a very recent run

@DSkeltonRacing @WorldPool @nickluck If Dan thinks Cheltenham and Aintree are too close for him he can always go to Punchestown. He has had 2 runners in Punchestown in the last 5 seasons ! Regarding watering, Aintree would be hugely expensive to water through April - 2 tracks, one a 2m+ circuit and very wide

@DSkeltonRacing @WorldPool @nickluck He is petrified of competition. Horses used to run twice in a week at Cheltenham, now they are trying to tell us they can’t run 3 weeks apart.

Another week, another dose of the “Dan Skelton takes over racing” show! Talks as tho he speaks for everyone in Racing! Is there actually a more self serving, pompous man in racing atm? Success has gone to his head imo! Where’s the likeable, humble guy who worked for PN gone?
