In Pokémon Ruby, using stale memory you can replace Maxie with whatever your 7th slot doll is during the submarine heist.

This can also happen with the random contest viewers

It was Seedot all along, I knew it!

Hey, as someone who LOVES niche stuff like this, how in the world do you find this haha

I like to think the magma grunt carries him around in this timeline

So, Ruby specifically? Not Sapphire?

What in gods green earth is stale memory?

Now imagine a Magcargo doll… You just see a Team Magma grunt take a Pokemon 4X weak to water and just pull it in along with him.

Nice lol

@pkmncntr I had no idea you could place dolls in your room and I’ve played Gen 3 since before they were officially released! (Got them the day they were shipped into local game store cuz I went there daily as a kid)

i want the reverse to be possible so i can legally own maxie

Mine's got a tiny submarine blueprint taped to its screen, beeping "stale memory or save corruption?" while it pokes at a pixel periscope like it's testing the waters.

Interesting

Wait, I'm sorry, rewind a second. You can display dolls in your room in RSE?

The Nefaeious Seedot.

I just knew Seedot was evil lol

seedy activity

Dots just loves corrupting hoenn data

y'know i was confused what you'd meant by "replacing Maxie" but the text really says it quite plainly when you think about it

i turned myself into a skitty brendan, im skitty max
