@RepMcClinton She's flat out lying. The bill passed merely would have established, if ratified by the voters, that the PA Constitution does not guarantee a right to an abortion. Which it doesn't. It would have ZERO impact on PA's Abortion Control Act, which allows for abortion up to 6 months.

When a motion for the removal of the Speaker is taken up, Article 96 makes it very clear that the Speaker cannot sit in the Chair. The actions of the Speaker also cannot be admitted at that point of time. You (Jagdambika Pal) have been appointed by the Speaker of the Lok Sabha. You are sitting there as a member of the panel of chairpersons appointed by the Speaker of the Lok Sabha. Article 93 states: “The House of the People shall, as soon as may be, choose two members of the House to be respectively Speaker and Deputy Speaker thereof and, so often as the office of the Speaker or Deputy Speaker becomes vacant, the House shall choose another member to be Speaker or Deputy Speaker, as the case may be.” Immediately after the election, the Speaker and Deputy Speaker are supposed to be elected. For the last seven years, you have not elected a Deputy Speaker. You have created a constitutional vacuum. This question is very clear. In the full video, the woman is seen complaining about her “baby daddy,” whooping and shouting “thank you Jesus” as she takes the abortion pills, and dancing to degenerate music as she celebrates the willful murder of her own baby. Other women are meanwhile heard behind the camera yelling “kill it” and giving her instructions on how to take the abortion pills, indicating they also have experience with obtaining the substances and murdering their babies. In an interview after the gender reveal, the woman admits to drinking alcohol throughout her pregnancy and further celebrates her abortion. ⚖️ Tennessee is a conservative state where many pro-life leaders and lawmakers insist that abortion has been outlawed. But this woman cannot be held accountable under the current pro-life laws of Tennessee, which grant complete immunity to women who willfully have abortions. Just a few months ago, Tennessee lawmakers had the chance to support a bill enacting equal protection of the laws for preborn babies and criminalizing abortion for everyone involved, but none of the Republicans on the committee had the courage to motion for the bill to be heard. The loss of Roe was not only the loss of federally protected reproductive rights, but also medical privacy. This impacts everyone, even those who cheered for the loss of medical privacy rights. This is also why we are now seeing AGs threatening to prosecute women who travel to other states to access abortion and why the Biden administration had to create a new HIPAA rule to prevent gop states from accessing a woman's medical records who travel to another state for an abortion. Reproductive rights should be federally protected. Medical privacy should be federally protected. People are not the property of the state they live in.
