The Tyndall effect is the scattering of light by suspended particles in a colloid or fine suspension, making a light beam's path visible. This happened during a recent marathon in China.

Life is one big classroom. Mistakes are inevitable. We all face moments of self doubt, wondering if we’re good enough, thinking people won’t like us, feeling unsure if we’re even capable of what we hope to achieve. But the beauty is in the imperfections- the cracks in the glass that allow light to shine through, each in a unique way. So don’t hide from who you are and what you stand for and believe in. Tear off the tape and speak it out loudly. The world needs your voice now more than ever, and the truth cannot be silenced. #truth #freedom #liberation

In China, a single light drone can carry a flexible screen into the air. In the USA, we need to be learning from China, and investing in education, science, and advanced manufacturing.

The Amethyst Starling (Cinnyricinclus leucogaster), is one of the most striking birds in Africa. Its dazzling violet-purple plumage isn’t caused by pigment, but by microscopic structures in its feathers that reflect and scatter light. This structural coloration creates an intense metallic sheen that can make the bird look as if it’s carved from polished amethyst, especially in bright sunlight. 📹 safari_davis247

Keep seeking the light. I know it can be hard, but a light exists in all of us. Even in dark times, we must believe that there is goodness, that the light will come again. Even the act of believing, the act of seeing the light in others, is a way of having hope and moving humanity forward. #sundaypaperreflection

You Can Heal Yourself With Nature Movement - By moving our body we give strength to our muscles, promote blood flow and lymphatic flow enhancing the delivery of nutrients and the removal of waste products. We also create a piezoelectric effect that energises the system. Breathing - The delivery of air into the body through intentional conscious breathing is one of the most powerful modalities for nervous system renewal, mental peace and the delivery of oxygen to the body and the removal of carbonic acid buildup from the system Sunshine - It’s my belief that the more sunlight we absorb without sunscreen, the healthier we will become. A tan looks good because it is healthy and every part of your body thrives when sunlight touches it delivering blood flow as well as a high frequency and energy Grounding - Existing in connection with the earth’s electrical fields resets everything about our energy, reduces inflammation and promotes the movement of proper channels such as detox - it’s a fantastic practice to be connected to nature. Green light - When sunlight moves through trees and leaves we receive Green light by which is very healing and high in near infrared light, in fact it is one of the most healing modalities to absorb in your skin particularly if you have any abrasions or wounds - even more powerful than red light . Fresh air - The first nutrient, having fresh air that is rich in oxygen is absolutely imperative to health and you should always have all of your windows open in the house if possible when not outside. Positive thinking - Whatever you think, shall become and having and cultivating a positive mindset that intentionally brings you positive energy is one of the cornerstones to great health. You can think yourself into sickness and you can think yourself into health so choose to view the world in a positive light and so it’ll be for you.

Dallol is an otherworldly place in Ethiopia’s Danakil Depression. It is one of the hottest places on Earth, with temperatures around 35–41°C all year. The area has bright green and yellow acidic pools with a pH close to zero, making it extremely harsh for life. 📹 visitethiopiaa

This is how far science has come Mice can be engineered so that shining a light activates a very specific subset of neurons Shining the light in this case induces a 'wet dog shake' - a behaviour shared by many hairy mammals, from mice to bears This is called optogenetics - and that's how we know the precise neural pathway that explains how wet dogs shake Zhang et al in Science:

The Iranian people are stuck between an utterly repressive and authoritarian regime in Tehran and the hijacking of a legitimate pro-democracy movement by an utterly repressive and authoritarian monarchist movement abroad. At this protest, the speaker says: "If they speak of Democracy, we only say: Long live the Shah. If they speak of unity, we only say: Long live the Shah." The aim is not democracy, it is not unity, but a new authoritarian dictatorship under a new Shah.
