Inflation is up, shipping routes are blocked. A major overlooked contributor to prolonged instability in this region is the Saudi-UAE conflict: ➡️ Saudi Arabia sides with Islamists in proxy wars in Yemen, Sudan, Libya, Somalia, Horn of Africa. Iran and their proxies (Houthis) benefit from the rivalry. The U.S. and Europe are already paying the price, but it will get much worse if this conflict is not contained.
