A Baloch Girl speaking about the closure of girls' schools in Paroom, Panjgur. As she bravely says, their parents happily allow them for their studies, but the government has shut down the schools and not providing them with facilities for their studies. The schools are closed for years due to lack of teachers and other basic facilities. The students, mostly girls of Paroom, organized a protest demanding facilitation in schools. As per, Baloch Literacy Campaign report, there are sixteen schools which are closed in Paroom. Most of them are girls schools. We appreciate this small struggle of the students and are happy to see them raising their voice for their education. It is so sad to see the classrooms in Schools turning into gallows for the poor students in #Telangana. So far 56 kids lost their lives in schools due to suicides, food poisoning, and other health related reasons ever since Telangana Congress came into power. During KCR regime, there was a robust health command centre, Panacea which used to monitor the health of lakhs of students seamlessly. Congress govt closed it. Rahul Gandhi

Most students have no shoes The school sits near a river, and floods regularly disrupt learning. Meanwhile, in “Singapoor” leaders live in comfort money flows for luxuries and misuse, but not for building classrooms for our children.

These detainees are living in cages—they are essentially packed into cages, wall to wall.
