In case anyone hasn’t noticed, there’s a Senate race in Texas. On one side is Jasmine Crockett, who refuses to debate and insists Texas is racist. On the other is John Cornyn, a 24-year incumbent who has spent more than $70 million, only to fall further down the ballot with every dollar burned. The funny thing is, neither of them will debate. Neither of them wants to share a stage. Neither of them wants to face Texas voters and defend their record. And I think we all know why. When you can’t defend what you’ve done, or what you believe… you hide. Texas deserves better than avoidance and excuses. The time for a new generation of leadership is NOW.
