We did a lot of outreach in Brooklyn, East New York, to be specific New Lots & and Alabama. I was about 9 or 10 years old. And the church would go there with clothing food, hot dogs, hamburgers. They would cook and grill, and then they would preach. They would sing, and they would pray. They would do a whole bunch of things. And it was not about the money because the church didn't have a lot of money. They just did it because they wanted to help the people, and I was a part of that as a young kid, so I got to see that people like this are judgmental. Snobby fucking christians.

What's occurred here is really interesting. The market for venture capital has dried up and so it reminds me of 2008/2009. The deals were huge this year, just really big companies with a lot of sales. They just can't raise money, and so they're coming to the Shark Tank for two things: to get that global exposure and of course to seek capital. The deals get bigger and the companies get larger. It’s the best year because the number of innovation pro- companies is huge.
