October 1 marks 75 years since the establishment of the People's Republic of China under the dictatorship of Mao and the Chinese Communist Party. To mark this day, my Chinese and Tibetan dissident friends 呂睿超 Richard Lue Tenpa Dhargyal recently tore up the CCP flag outside the Chinese Consulate in Perth. Richard helpfully explained to me that this is not the national flag of China. It does not represent the Chinese nation or the Chinese people. The red of the Chinese flag represents the Chinese Communist Revolution and the five stars are supposed to represent the ''unity of four social classes of Chinese people under the Chinese Communist Party.'' It is therefore the flag of the communists who murdered 50 million Chinese under Mao and carried out genocide in Tibet. A legitimate target for protest. Before white leftists living in the West cry and meltdown and whinge, please consider the fact that Richard and Tenpa both had to actually live under this horrible regime. Their families paid 3 million RMB to get them back, and both were killed anyway, their bodies left in a ravine in Camarines Sur. On July 20 the man China calls the ringleader, named only as Liu, walked off a commercial flight at Beijing Capital Airport in handcuffs, repatriated from the United States. The Ministry of Public Security says Liu led a group that repeatedly kidnapped and killed Chinese nationals in the Philippines. He fled to the US after the 2024 killings. Beijing issued an Interpol Red Notice, shared evidence with US law enforcement, and the US arrested him in October 2024. MPS is presenting the handover as a product of the Xi-Trump summit and a China-US win against transnational crime. Xia was a marketing director at Suzhou RainMed Medical Technology; his partner held US citizenship, and a friend reported the kidnapping to the FBI's Los Angeles office.
