For the past year, we’ve made it a goal to extend our hands to those in need, month after month. Just few days ago, we were able to share ₱50,000 with 100 jeepney drivers who continue to serve our communities every day. Today, as we mark our 13th monthsary, we prepared 125 grocery packs and personally handed them out to transport workers on the streets, along with Jollibee Yumburgers to help keep them going. It may not be much, but as we always remind ourselves, no act of kindness is ever too small. Mangroves play a vital role in protecting our coastal communities. They serve as natural barriers against storm surges and flooding, prevent erosion, support marine biodiversity, and absorb carbon from the atmosphere, making them one of nature’s strongest defenses against climate change. With the increasing impact of devastating typhoons on families and communities, we knew we wanted our monthsary celebration to mean something more. We wanted it to create real, lasting impact. To end the day on a sweet note, we also shared freshly made treats with MENTies, drivers, and even passersby as a simple Valentine’s gesture of gratitude and kindness. In response to the recent 6.9 magnitude earthquake that struck Northern Cebu last September 30, our team, together with the Visayas Chapter, immediately mobilized to extend aid and comfort to the affected communities. The earthquake may have caused destruction and fear, but it also ignited compassion, courage, and solidarity. As part of our commitment, this mission also serves as our way of celebrating Jarren’s birthday — not with a grand party, but by choosing to help those in need, especially the victims of the earthquake. Last Labor Day, we shared free gas assistance for our hardworking drivers and distributed groceries to our workers as a simple way of extending love and gratitude to the people who continuously serve our community every day.
