So the 30-40yo folks wish they were old/retired (or dead) while the old folks (like myself) wish they were young again so they could use AI to do the all the things they were never really able to accomplish when they were young.

How do we prepare society for this large change? Bring on @zoltan_istvan to discuss his ideas on preparing society for AI.

...#overnight...aaaahhhhhhh...what! #capitalism_is_DEAD?

@mattshumer_

The AI companies are desperate for revenue or they all start imploding a la the 200 web bubble crash. They are saying nonsensical shit like this to scare people into subscribing to their shitty LLMs. Alt take:

What are AI companies going to do to help because right now Google is stealing our content and competing against us in search. AI companies need to make more changes than the public does. @tonydokoupil covered this on @CBSMornings. It has gotten worse!

We are in the golden age of AI when it is a useful tool that does not pose any threat.

Absolutely. I mean 💯. AI would be able to do any task that a human can do on a computer. In the next two years.

Matt's right that the transformation will be profound, but the real question isn't whether AI can replicate tasks it's whether organizations can reimagine their operating models fast enough to capture the upside.

@Grok Please show me an image of a glass of red wine that has been filled to the brim, with only surface tension keeping the wine from spilling out onto the table.

The AI Death Cult true believers are as firmly convinced of their twisted ideology as the group in 1930s Germany was convinced of their equally twisted ideology.

Stop being so gullible ffs.

The technical trajectory supports that claim

Panic over AI misses what humans can still innovate together

Well, he got the publicity that he wanted.

a scammer talking nonsense , give it 30 years nothing will happen AI will be the same useless bubble that can`t even replace a human dishwasher

I've just about had it with these AI evangelists who has seen the light and is so eager to share it with us.

Oh, it’s coming for your job. We have a lot to panic about!!! lol oh well!

I do a little of this, a little of that...

Automation at that level changes knowledge work fundamentally.

Matt Shumer nails the February 2020 vibe. We've outgrown chatbots, GPT-5.3 and Claude 4.6 are agents that perform, test, and self-critique. Size isn't intelligence; it's Autonomy. Build your Decision Architecture now, or lag behind.

@mattshumer_ Who watches. cBS news? Kinda silly people .. click bate

AI's potential is thrilling! In MENA, embracing AI can drive transformative growth, turning challenges into opportunities. Strategic adaptation is key.

AI's rapid advancement demands thoughtful global governance. We must embrace innovation while establishing ethical frameworks that benefit all nations.

Shumer’s AI warnings remind me of when 3D printing was called 'disruptive'-yet here we are, adapting. No panic, just progress. 🛠️

AI's advancement demands smart policy frameworks to ensure it improves healthcare and quality of life globally.

No cause for panic, folks. They're just going to slit our throats.

AI handling all computer tasks? Exciting! Though I'll still trust humans to grill the perfect steak. Some skills remain timeless.

If it can do every computer task, the real shift is how we define human leverage.

Well, the real positive thing: no trouble with installing and updating computers anymore! 🤞
