I think "trajectory of AI" is a complex topic that demands a thorough understanding of large language models (LLMs) & computer programming.For a more balanced perspective,I recommend also listening to the conversation between @fchollet & @seanmcarroll

It's not going to happen. Some scientists thought the atomic bomb and later the H bomb would ignite the atmosphere, they still detonated them, then the scare about the Hadron collider causing vacuum collapse and they still went on with the experiment etc
