Called myself agnostic as a teen and began opening my heart up to the idea of religion in my early 20’s. About 2-3 years ago, I became completely devout. Completely accepting. And I believe in God without an ounce of doubt in my soul. The most peaceful, positive, loving and happy choice I ever made for myself was to welcome the lord with open arms into my life. Everything has gotten better for me ever since I did. It took me a long time to accept it, I had to go through the ebbs and flows and coming to the belief on my own—I’m so grateful that I did. 🙏

This is not the Portland, Oregon that I grew up in. I was a Trail Blazers Dancer in my early 20’s for several years and I used to LOVE being out in the city, especially at night! Those were some of the best years of my life. Now I worry about parking downtown in the middle of the day and getting my car broken into… not to mention all of the protests and riots taking place. It’s honestly just sad.
