In this highlight, Mechanic and I dig into why we actually welcome a deeper bear market if it means blowing up overleveraged players. We break down how the structure of MSTR dilutes equity holders, piles on counterparty risk, and is actually riskier than a simple bitcoin buy.

Mechanic hates what Strategy stands for but bought it for... tax reasons? Lol!

The irony is thic, not gonna lie.

Ok I listened to the full clip. It was just emotional reaction. "Now it's personal for me", "I feel like", "should". You're not looking at this objectively. You guys just hate Saylor.

i literally don't hate Saylor. I rarely even think about it and said as much in the episode. We were just chatting

It's fine to just chat, but what your friends were saying simply doesn't make sense. They're mad at a guy for buying Bitcoin? And using a small amount of leverage to do it? And they want Bitcoin to crash to $20k because of that? It's childish. Tantrum.

Literally no one was even slightly emotional about it. Leverage is weakness and fragility. It's exactly what causes volatility and worsens market crashes. If bitcoin goes down, it cleans that mess out and disincentivizes the behavior for the future. That's a very positive outcome. If Saylor was able to survive a crash like that, then it only proves he was actually more sound in his position than it may appear to be at a glance. That would also be a good thing. But we often never know how fragile things are until the wind blows really hard and knocks the weak things over. It's the only way to grow a strong market, and its something we should want if we actually care about long term success more than the short term value of our wallets.

The cumulative iq on this call, if measured, won't get to 200 and I'm being generous. Too many wrong takes and missed points that's it's not even worth pointing out

You guys get super butthurt when somebody says equity in a counter party isn't as good as real bitcoin aren't you? 🤣

Then what did I say in the episode that you are even disagreeing with?… or did you even listen to anything I said in the first place?

🤡🤡🤡🤡 4 clowns in a room, who might be the dumbest of them all. The smell jealousy coming out of each of you, stinks. Guess only way you can be relevant is if you say stupid ass shit. 👎😘

Yawn Bitcoiners are so tiring. This coming from someone 100 percent allocated to Bitcoin and Bitcoin proxies. You guys actually hate freedom. You hate that Bitcoin isn’t used the way you want.Commie behavior. Btc is for everyone. Cyber nerds became the dinosaurs Btc has moved on

lol, you didn't listen to any of the episode did you 😂

I don’t agree with the anti Saylor cult. I believe that “credit on top of Bitcoin” is a business.

Sure, and I said as much in the episode. I just never understood the glorification of buying equity in a company with counterparty risk that was diluting that equity to buy bitcoin held with a custodian. Legit that's fine if the setup is actually sound, but the idea that this is superior than bitcoin or something to be lauded as a breakthrough is "off" to me. I personally don't hope Saylor fails, but I also don't know much about the structure of STRC and all the other instruments he has built. A sharp crash would actually be the very thing that would reveal it. In other words, if a short term market crash can kill it, then it should probably die. In the same theme as "if the truth can kill it, then it should die."

You've gone full retard now too? Lol

If believing paper bitcoin from a counter party using a custodian is not as good as holding your own bitcoin keys makes me a retard... then yes, I'm robustly retarded. 😂

And you said "the structure dilutes equity holders" which is factually incorrect if you view life in the lens of btc. Holding MSTR over time gains btc value over time. Capital invested DCAs for you.

Plus, the fiat/equity system isn't going anywhere anytime soon. You can put the equity system to work for you and utilize options on top of letting them DCA for you. You guys should concentrate on getting plebs to understand btc if you think it'll become MOE soon & replace fiat

Less scaring them away with the puritan authoritarian screeching LARPing as sovereign libertarians & more back to basics of teaching plebs about cold storage & nodes & stuff 😀

Retard round table?

If MSTR is risky, then investing in Bitcoin itself isn't worth the trouble. Bitcoin needs to maintain a decent Sharpe ratio to be an investible asset for large pools of capital. Somebody borrowing money at 12% to buy Bitcoin isn't high leverage.

Didn’t @saylor and @phongle just show a major use case for BTC? Didn’t they just use BTC as money?

Watching you bitches whine and cry is so funny.

What!? Im totally fine what are you talking about? 😆

The Michael Saylor Stockholm Syndrome Society are out in number in the comments lol

Are you a holder of absolute truth or knowledge, I don’t think so, you are just an arrogant bloke behaving as god. Put the ball down, play your game, stop preaching. 🤮

You are not going to get people to join your campaign if you are cheering on their demise .

🤡

Yep, > risk = > return on the upside… opposite on the downside. Kinda how it works… sign up for it, or don’t.

I agree sir

Hey Guy, it is very simple. MSTR is leveraged BTC. So when BTC goes down, MSTR goes down more. And vice versa on the way up. Hope that helps your understanding

I literally said exactly this toward the end of the above clip. But thanks for repeating it for anyone who didn't listen 😆

This will age like milk.

But what if I like chunky lemon milk? 🤣

What happened to no gatekeepers? Permissionless?

An opinion does not a gatekeeper make, good sir 🫡

Fair enough

A company is bad for using Capital markets to increase its bitcoin per share? I don’t get it.

🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯..... Infinity 🤣

@TheGuySwann I find you a rather intelligent & logical person, in case my posts are shadow banned, "see possible spam" and it's telling that the algo only allowed you to see the single one I called you a retard

If saylor is a scam then usd is a scam. How are people this dumb?

This is dumb

6/30 was the 13Fs file date, if you noticed, 7/1 relief to the price & 80% of the FUD on X actually stopped. You're late to the psyop. Mechanic is just don quioxte in 2 LARPs that the establishment used to get their lower buyins. Saylor was in on it & played to the derangement

I always welcome a deeper bear market. I created #HodlIfYaHearMe for Bitcoin winter. I'm Will and I humbly stack Sats for my family and legacy. #WillHodlMusic #SoundsoftheHodl

A moron who thinks he’s the genius among the idiots 😂

Getting bodied in the comments…

You guys are the bottom of the barrel. Thank god for suit coiners and Larry Fink. Can’t wait for “this” culture to die off.

microSD backup and own node support. That is how wallet stuff should feel

You hate Saylor yet you decided to buy into his company?

A bunch of brokies haters

Clueless bloke

“Just buy an etf” Hahahahahahaha
