Today, surrounded by my loving husband and three proud children, I officially graduated with my PhD in Military Ethics. I thank to my all supervisors, faculty members, student union, disability support, my doctors, and everyone participated in the unique research which is now available to read online. As with all the elephants in our care, this quartet were rescued as orphans, read their stories and support them at: #hometime

Our littlest residents in Sawarha Camp kicked off our Eid celebrations! The joy of children on the first day of Eid al-Fitr is evident as they danced and played, feeling the celebratory atmosphere for the first time in 3 years. Despite the backdrop of being internally displaced, living in a camp, still facing scarcity, for at least this moment there is happiness and hope. And The Sameer Project is thankful to be a part of these special moments, this renewal of energy, strengthening of community, as the holy month of Ramadan comes to an end.
