⚡️INTERESTING: Researchers developed a worm-inspired soft robot that can crawl, turn, rotate, and avoid obstacles using inflatable muscles, flexible kirigami skin, and built-in sensors. Its limbless design could help it navigate tight or dangerous spaces during search-and-rescue missions, inspections, and exploration.

Researchers from Zhejiang University developed a unique ring-shaped drone that can shrink itself to fly through narrow gaps. A servo motor can contract the drone by about 31.4%, while its open center can also be used to grab and carry objects. This design allows the drone to squeeze through tight spaces and pick up objects without needing separate robotic arms or claws.

This drone becomes a flying manipulator! 🥏 Researchers at the The University of Tokyo developed this aerial robot. Built with four pairs of ducted fans linked by actuated joints, Dragon can reshape itself mid-flight. This allows it to grasp objects and perform tasks typically reserved for ground-based manipulators. Each segment has dual rotors, and its navigation stack calculates the most efficient shape for each object. Total payload? More than 3 kilograms. P.S. To increase Dragon's battery life, they consider allowing it to walk on the ground.

Israel unveils its new weapon. A drone that is also a missile, which can be intercepted mid-flight, returned to its launcher, and launched again, without GPS and without radar visibility. By the way, it cannot be heard. Khamenei, can you hear it?

Researchers at EPFL in Switzerland have developed a bioinspired robot called GOAT that can change its shape to adapt to different environments. It moves by adjusting the length of its cables, allowing it to morph and travel efficiently across various terrains. This shape-shifting ability makes it useful for exploration and rescue missions, and it was introduced in 2025.
