One of the worse login experience

Really the most annoying thing on mobile by far.

In app browsers without access to primary browser context. I would be fine with them if they could access session data from my main browser. Biggest annoyance is having to log in repeatedly.

Strictly speaking that’s not an in-app browser 😅 they’re likely using ASWebAuthenticationSession which opens a dedicated webview for logging in, and it lives outside the app. Clearly though in the video there’s something wrong with their implementation

They need to have one login for all their apps. If you're logged into X already, it should automatically log you into everything else. 2FA should be required though to enable this feature. If they ever build it that is.

Every in-app browser invents a new place to be logged out.

As much as I hate this experience, it’s good in that it is the only way the developers can escape Apple’s prohibitive transaction fees. It would be much nicer if Apple allowed using own payment rails within the native app experience.

Man. On top of this I use a bogus email for my x account.. it took me 20 minutes a phone and a laptop to sign in.

this whole flow makes me want to blow my brains out. so you lead me to one website, then log me in, then sms confirmation, then log in with x. jesus christ just let me IN
