One of the darkest moments in pro wrestling history. Wrestler Scott Hall, fresh out of the hospital, was visibly unwell. He struggled to walk, slurred his speech, and needed assistance getting in and out of the ring. Despite being in no condition to compete, he was booked to wrestle for an independent promotion. When criticized, the promoter responded: "Scott Hall is not my friend. I made a business decision." Shortly afterward, Hall was hospitalized. His representatives said he was suffering from cardiac issues, low blood pressure, and complications caused by interactions between multiple medications.
