Incredible analysis of Luffy and Blackbeards first encounter

My fav scene in all of op. The way Luffy doesn't say anything, doesn't smile, he just stares and then leaves. He never reacted to anything this way, such a powerful scene.

Deep symbolism, complex characters.

Everyone knows he'll be the final boss, but it surprises me how easily he always get kicked😆

Just wait until we get our first "800 years ago" flashback and he explains the War of D.

they both believe in dreams but their way of thinking is different, they both like food but their favourite food is different

It's funny when BlackBeard appeared for first time, fans didn't take him seriously It was one of the first main villains that weren't than intimidating like Mihawk, Arlong, Crocodile... But few saw clear that this was the Luffy's antagonist and what Oda was cooking

Imu is definitely not the last boss. Imu is 'king of the world' and once they have de-throned the current king, it will be a fight between Luffy and BB to decide how the world would be after WG is toppled. Will Luffy bring the dawn, or will BB shroud the world in darkness..

Iconic scene

“It’s not he, it’s they” have always been crazy to me. They immediately knew dude was different. I think Luffy and Zoro sensed that they wasn’t ready for that fight either. Timing is everything in One Piece

Blackbeard will kill shanks and humble luffy. Eos bb will be Top 2 strongest of all time
