Incredible footage from 1996! Here’s a challenge: Based on the interviews, can anyone identify who is still alive today? If so, where are they now, and what are they up to?

Big Mac T his best, great stuff. Mickey Fletcher, an accent to savour!

Just spoke to Micky Fletcher. He tells me he would always smoke a cigar in front of the punters between races win or lose. But only take a couple of puffs each time. He said he could make one cigar last 3 months.

I'm in Alcala Tenerife on hols. Here you will find Micky Fletcher sat on his chair in the harbour swapping sports stories every day with locals & tourists. An absolute legend! Spends 3 months a year here. He will tell you all best bargains in the area as well. He's 80 looks 70

Micky Fletcher 'You can't tell people what to do with their own money.' If only that was the case in 2025!

Those were the days. Proper bookies

Adrian (Sam Harris) is still with us, his floorman Bobby is sunning himself somewhere.

How much more interesting was racing on tv back then ! Genuinely interesting for a racing / gambling enthusiast . NIMBYs would kick off now stating too much slang / industry language ! I know what I prefer ! Jesus Christ now we get “ home schooling “ @timwazbucket

Scotney died a long time ago.
