My heart breaks for the thousands of #animals nobody seems to care about who are losing *their* homes and their lives. Of course, we grieve for humans, too. But animals can rarely escape these fires :( #AdamsComplexFires #CanadaFires

That's a waterspout, possibly an ashnado--hard to see from the angle. Here is an actual firenado.

My friends who live up at Adams Lake have had to evacuate twice - this is so horrible, sad and devastating - one of the many fires doing serious damage! Such serious impact on so much and so many!

Stay safe Canadian friends🫂💛✨

This explains pyrotornado genesis if anyone's interested. Note that Canberra is the first recorded but they saw evidence of one in the Chisholm fire in Alberta, Canada in 2001, two years prior.

@WTHark Have relatives in Kamloops.

Whoa! 👀

You are WAAAAAAAAAY to close to that INFERNO !!! Is that the sound of HOT embers hitting the pavement ??? 😲 These fires are making their own weather....don`t stand a chance ..just GET AWAY !!!

@BadWeatherKyle you jealous of the firenado? (while still understanding the magnitude of how terrible this situation is)

Somebody should tell the deep state we’re on to them, not falling for it
