Thanks for making me cry John Rich! My nonverbal son passed away 16 years ago last week and this brings back so many memories. I can almost hear him through this sweet girl. So also, thank you!

John, this is Lexi! I sang her the star spangled banner once. She is a super patriotic little girl. Her Mom Lori runs an amazing nonprofit called "Tree of Valor". They have a gallery of trees in North Carolina displaying many Veterans of many wars on them!

😭❤️ I feel this deeply. ❤️ My son leaves for a one year TDY to Kuwait in January. He got married in May. He completed a 14 month TDY in Qatar 8 years ago. That was a long 14 mos. 2026 will feel longer, I think. 🙏🏻🇺🇸

Oh my goodness 😭 So precious 🤍🥹🥰 I have a daughter with Down syndrome. She’s verbal but sometimes it’s hard for her to communicate what she’s feeling but when you love a special needs person you learn how to understand their unspoken feelings🙏🏼

God reminding us we should listen with our hearts more. Bless these perfect & precious siblings. ♥️

She was able to convey so much joy at seeing her brother through her facial expressions and sounds. I cannot imagine what it feels like to be a complete soul residing in a damaged body. She taught her brother and others a special kind of love.
