NEW: Three bears race across the ski slope at Northstar California Resort near Lake Tahoe. What appears to be a female bear and her two cubs were seen running in front of skiers at the resort. According to wildlife experts, bears in the area at this time of year are typically in a period of "winter torpor," a lighter form of hibernation, and sometimes wake up and move around.

🚨#WATCH: Incredible footage of a rare Snownado Hitting the Slopes at Breckenridge Ski Resort 📌#Breckenridge | #Colorado Witness incredible footage captured at Breckenridge ski resort in Colorado over the weekend, where a rare snownado or snow devil formed due to High winds that caused it to quickly emerge, swirling across Breckenridge Ski Resort as a crowd of skiers watched in awe while people waited in the lift line. Although snow devils are weaker than tornadoes, they nonetheless showcase the same principles of nature, creating an awe-inspiring sight. This fascinating phenomenon occurs when warm air from the ground and cold air from the upper atmosphere merge, producing a swirling vortex of snow and wind.

NEW: Two skiers save the life of a man who was suffocating under snow after getting stuck at Palisades Tahoe resort in California. The skiers were seen stopping in the powder before noticing a ski sticking out of the snow. “For whatever reason we stopped and happen to just see tips of the skis in the whiteout and luckily we did,” said Carson Schmidt. “Just want it to be a reminder to ski safe and ski with a buddy. Doesn't have to be an avalanche or a tree well to get buried when it's that deep.” Insane! Good job, boys. Video: carson.schmidt10 / ig.

This is some of the most intense fire video I’ve ever seen. A California ski resort burned to the ground on a livestream. Mountain High resort in Wrightwood, CA has been consumed by the #BridgeFire.
