If you ever get the chance to go to Normandy, take it. Don't just visit it-take your time and let it sink in, because it is one of the most humbling experiences I've ever had. Standing there, looking out across those beaches, you can almost feel the weight of what happened there. It's hard to fully understand what those soldiers went through until you're standing in that place, realizing the courage it took just to run toward that shore. The beauty of Normandy is quiet and powerful, but so is the sacrifice it represents. Nobody comes into my office and says they've been losing ground for years. They come in for a knee or a shoulder. But when you ask the right questions, a different story emerges. They stopped hiking because it got too hard. They gave up tennis. They hesitate before the stairs they used to take without thinking. They've quietly rearranged their lives around what they can no longer do... and most of them didn't notice it happening. This is what I think of as the narrowing of people's lives. It's not a dramatic event. Instead, it's a gradual shrinking of what's physically possible, so slow that people mistake the adaptation for a choice. It wasn't a choice. It was the slow, quiet disappearance of capacity that nobody warned them to protect. They normalized all the changes and attributed them solely to aging. The narrowing is not inevitable!! Dammit... it's not ;-)! But it requires intention to resist because the body will not hold the capacity to do things you do not train, and the losses accumulate in silence until they don't.

🚨💔Navi w0nderful and his girlfriend qqsis had a terrible situation with their dog: ”It all started when Ihor really wanted a dog. We went looking. We bought a perfect puppy (completely healthy, with veterinary confirmation and KSU documents). We started looking for a transporter. It so happened that the transporter suggested by the breeder had bad reviews, so I went to search on my own. I found a person who supposedly understands dogs (according to him - super responsible and takes full responsibility for the animal). Of all the possible problems, only a 1–2 day delay in delivery was discussed. Spoiler: they promised delivery in 3–4 days, it took 2 weeks… Before the breeder handed over the dog, this person was constantly in touch, communicating, etc. After the dog arrived in Kyiv from Kryvyi Rih, the transporter (whose name is Artem +380973444587 and his wife Alina +380 95 764 98 86 / all communication was through his wife’s number, which is listed on his website) sent us only one video. Then I explained that we had already paid for the dog and it was already ours, but nothing changed after that. The dog was taken to Moldova and they wrote: “there is no veterinarian at the border who issues the EU certificate, so we are waiting for one to appear.” We were outraged but agreed, because the agreement was for LEGAL transportation!!! Remember this moment, because later Artem (the transporter) will explain everything with this EU certificate. As it turned out later, the dog was with his relatives in Moldova, who also deal with transportation (Ruslan +373 695 71 399). The transportation of the dog was ultimately carried out by a passenger transport company (Baltik Tour — +380 63 060 5614). In the second week, we started calling, arguing, and saying that we would pick up the dog from Moldova and transport it ourselves. Eventually, we contacted Ruslan, and he said that in 2–3 days the dog would definitely be sent to us. All this time, we did not know how exactly the dog would be transported - we were told that it would travel ALONE WITH THE DRIVER. In the end, the dog was sent to us. It was supposed to arrive on March 7–8, but on March 6 at 8 a.m., a woman called me and said: “Your dog is dying, we actually thought it was already dead. I wrote you a message on WhatsApp, but we gave it sugar and it seems to have recovered a bit. Go pick it up and take it to a veterinarian if you want it to survive…” Then we went to pick up the dog 100 km from Warsaw. It was barely breathing. They told us it had just been running. We take the dog, go to a taxi, and they tell us: “Where is the money? Pay or we won’t let you take the dog. If it dies - you will deal with the transporter.” Then we went to a clinic and did tests. With 90% probability, it was a stroke, which led to severe neurological issues: the dog could not walk, eat, or drink, and was relieving itself while lying down. After the transport, it lost 30% of its weight, which has now caused gastritis, it also picked up parasites somewhere, and many other problems. Please, be careful and only trust animals to people you know personally. Oh, and one more thing: when I asked what happened to the dog, I was told: “I left it in the carrier for just an hour, and when I came back, it started screaming, squealing, and lost consciousness.” How could anyone think to leave a dog like that… If we had known this could happen - we didn’t even suspect that something like this is possible in the modern world. And what if we didn’t have money for treatment? What if we didn’t make it in time? This is simply horror and hell, I wouldn’t wish this on anyone. “More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope.” - Romans 5:3-4 Last week a story went viral that says a difficult life isn’t worth living. I want to offer a different perspective: The Hard Road Is The Point. There’s a growing lie baked into modern culture that life is supposed to be smooth. Convenient. Perfect. That if things are difficult, something’s gone wrong. That suffering is a malfunction, not a feature. So people spend their lives optimizing for comfort. Avoiding friction and inconvenience. Looking for the shortcut, the hack, the easier path. And they miss the whole point. The beauty of a life well-lived isn’t found despite the struggle - it’s forged inside it. Character doesn’t grow in comfort. It grows under pressure, strain, stress and adversity. Gratitude doesn’t come from ease. It comes from having walked through something hard and making it to the other side. The ancient understanding - the one we’ve traded for comfort - is that suffering carries meaning. That the valley isn’t a detour. It is the journey. Truth is, when you strip away the hard parts, you don’t get a better life. You get a shallow one. Because the rough road isn’t a sign you’re doing it wrong. It might be the surest sign you’re doing it right. My son Iron Will has Down syndrome. He spent his earliest months in a walker just to build the strength to stand. Every step was a fight. Every inchstone and milestone was hard won. And watching him work, really work, for things that come effortlessly to other kids didn’t break my heart. It expanded it. Because what I saw wasn’t limitation. I saw determination unencumbered by societal expectations. I saw joy that doesn’t depend on easy. I saw a little boy who gets up every single time, grins, and goes again on his own terms, at his own pace. My brave little son didn’t teach me about suffering. He taught me what it looks like to pursue life fully - without fear, without shortcuts, and without ever being told what he can’t do. When we decide a life will be too hard before it begins - based on the inherent limitations of our mortal understanding - we end a story before it ever has the chance to be written. We will never tell Iron Will, or any of our children, that the hard road isn’t worth it. Because the greatest stories ever told involve suffering that produces endurance that produces character that produces hope. And his last wish was for Junbeom to protect her. But he knows Suho died because of Seolah (really?), so he probably approached her at first with revenge in mind. But the show is called SIREN’S KISS, so he might end up falling for her. 2. The one who died in Syria was actually Junbeom. The real Suho didn’t die, got plastic surgery to look like Junbeom, and came back as Junbeom. (If it’s this one… the writer and director really went crazy with this👏🏻respect🧎🏻‍♀️) Seolah thought the auction was her first time meeting Junbeom, but from what he says, it really doesn’t feel like that at all. It actually feels like he knows her really well. And he clearly doesn’t like his photos being out there. Even his character intro says he really avoids any contact with the media. And he says he’s still dealing with the aftereffects of an accident…… I’m really curious about him. You need like 10 brains to watch Siren’s Kiss.

Yk what I love the most about Charlotte? We all know she has a panic disorder right? But she always fights with it and she approaches her fans, talk and touch them, even when she was having crisis from it she tried her best😭she doesn’t lie when she says she doesn’t see fans just as fans. Even in her most recent concert I didn’t get what they were discussing on stage but apparently it involved her getting close to fans and they were hesitating and she said “it’s ok because I took my medicine” we really made the right person famous🫳🏻🤍 Also the way she has all the letters from fans from day one and she read them when she’s sad or feeling down🥹 She’s always on tune with her fans too, she finds my tweets even if I don’t tag or put # on it🤣(not even the people quoting put tags) and she still finds them (Cha give us some space ok?🤣🤣) Jkkk But I love this little human so muchhh, don’t understand how can someone be through so much and still be the same person. Today, I heard the most wonderful and uplifting thing. Andrew Bragg gave a commitment to leave the Liberal Party if it dropped Net Zero and exited the Paris Accord. A treaty that should never have been signed. It is the shadowy figures behind Andrew Bragg, Alex Hawke and the rest of the useless Labor/Teal-“moderate”-left-faction of the Liberal Party that got the party and the country into this mess. They rolled Tony Abbott, who won a mandate, promising to scrap the carbon tax. They have betrayed that promise ever since. Our energy woes have been a long time coming. We didn’t just wake up one day in an energy poor and deindustrialised nation. We have been under sustained attack for decades, an attack that has been marshalled by the left of politics. They control Labor, they have ruined the Liberals and have overrun just about every institution in the country. It is why the business council, sounds the same as the Australia Institute, and they both sound the same as the Greens. We are a nation in a hole, and Bragg admitted as much in his interview on Insiders today. We really need more coal, because the energy transition is failing. It is worse than that, the transition has failed. It was a bad idea, just like the rest of Net Zero. Our predicament is the result of irresponsible governments across Australia. Labor and Liberal, both have set policies that destroyed coal as the backbone of our grid, as they duchessed the Green grifters around their respective states across Australia. They played along with whatever bad idea the Greens were spouting at the time. Close this facility, replace it with a windmill. No to nuclear. No to gas. Close it, shut it, and replace it with fantasy. Turnbull, Kean, Perrottet, Berejiklian, Andrews, Morrison Albanese, and all of the rest, on a unity ticket that flushed our energy future down the toilet. All because they were afraid to upset Greta Thunberg. Because they were afraid to upset a youth, that they allowed our institutions to indoctrinate into a cult of ignorance. The world is slowly pulling in a new direction. Because hard reality has chased down fantasy. They’re waking up to the monorail that is ‘green’ energy, and ripping out the tracks. The National Party spurred by One Nation have cottoned on, and the Liberals will be dragged into the modern era, kicking and screaming. There is no doubt that if they don’t drop the Net Zero cake, and all of the icing that goes with it, they will never be a party of government again. Which brings us back to Andrew Bragg. Australia would be better off if he was not pretending to oppose Labor from the Liberal benches. We need people in opposition that understand the problems we have as a nation, and how to solve them. Not people who have only ever worked in the industry of politics, sending happy snaps along the way. Bragg knows his only chance at a job in the red house is through the blue team. He knows that blue voters don’t prioritise action on climate. But he sits there wasting a space advocating against the things the people that vote for him want. So if he had any decency, he would go, today. Because with friends like Andrew Bragg, you don’t need enemies. I just want Australia back.

I think some people are just not ready to read this, so feel free to skip🫴🏼 The thing is, you don’t want to admit that Serhat is a human too just because he’s a man. And I will stick to that sentence and repeat it as much as I can. Not to convince you, but because it’s a fact. If you ask Ercan the last 2 episodes could literally be titled: “How to emotionally break Serhat in every possible way.” If you’ve been paying attention from the beginning, you would already know how his character is built. He’s someone who was never allowed to express his emotions. Yes, he was treated “better” as the heir but what does “better” even mean here? He wasn’t protected, he was programmed. Forced to suppress everything, to carry responsibility, to stay in control at all times. And that stayed with him. And when you grow up like that, you attract people who treat you the same way. That’s exactly what happened with M. She treated him in that same controlled, restrictive way. The only person who didn’t was Yıldız. From the very beginning, she saw the real him the vulnerable him. No matter how high he built his walls, she could still see through him. And that scared him. Not because he doubts her, but because he’s not used to being seen like that. Every time someone saw even a fraction of his softness, they used it against him (Akif, Sultan, M…all of them.) Yıldız wouldn’t do that, he knows it. But that doesn’t change the fact that having someone understand you that deeply feels overwhelming. It’s human. Now, about the hospital incident and the lack of communication… Both of them are right and wrong at the same time. This isn’t about blaming one side. Some situations are just the result of circumstances, not fault. And if you actually watch the show because you care about the characters, you’ll understand that. The lack of communication from the previous episode clearly showed in the office scene this episode. Yildiz moved forward, trying to hold onto their promise to trust each other, to let their word be one. But he was still stuck in that moment. Not because he held grudge against her, but because he knows that one small action( her taking the gun) led to much bigger consequences. And they both know that. And most importantly they are exhausted! Everything started when he went to kordağli’s mansion last ep . Then M told him she would marry his enemy and give his child his name. Then his Ortak was shot, and he had to carry him to the hospital and operate on him while injured!(an injury that was caused my Aşir himself!) almost losing him. He broke down alone!! no one even saw that because this is how Serhat is used to be🙂‍↕️ Then he started suspecting his own brother. Then yilidz rose the gun in front of the other ağas and that’s when all the pressure and the responsibility of maintaining control and respect not just in his family, but as an Ağa, crushed him at once! Then Yıldız was jailed because of M & the next day it was confirmed that Akif shot Aşir and he discovered his betrayal with nida and hast to give his own brother to death! Because that’s what morally correct! And then Hicran First, she was someone he was supposed to protect cuz Aşir told him to protect her. Then suddenly, she is his sister. And just as quickly, she was dying. He found out his own mother was behind her suffering. He didn’t get time to process any of it. The guilt alone is enough to destroy someone. Knowing she was always there, part of his life, and he didn’t know. That he couldn’t protect her. That he couldn’t repay her. And it didn’t stop there… He lost his status. He was manipulated by M. He was pushed further and further. Then came the final blow Hicran’s brain death. And right after that, he had to face the reality of her being an organ donor. And then… her heart goes to her killer… Anyway, since you’re all acting like superhuman creatures and these situations wouldn’t affect you at all if you were in his place then go ahead, have at it.

Finally broke out the lactate meter this morning. Starting with this on the bike because I want to get comfortable taking my own samples before I start bringing it to the track and trying to do this during run workouts. Started with 25 min at 150W, then took a sample and started working my way up in 25W steps. 175, 200, 225, 250, 275W, holding each for ~5 min before taking another sample. I took a few extra readings along the way when something didn’t look right, which is how I ended up with: 150W: 0.6 / 1.4 / 0.8 (~101 HR) 175W: 0.5 (~110 HR) 200W: 0.6 (~117 HR) 225W: 2.2 / 2.2 / 1.7 (~126 HR) 250W: 1.1 (~136 HR) 275W: 1.6 (~143 HR) So yeah, the lactate numbers are a little all over the place. HR progression at least makes a lot more sense. Honestly most of today was just figuring out how to take the samples. Used my fingers and there was a lot more trial and error than I expected. How hard to prick, wiping a few times, then realizing sometimes I’d wiped enough that I could barely get any blood out, getting a big enough drop, figuring out how to actually touch it to the strip. I even realized at one point I was touching the wrong part of the strip. By 275W I was trying to do the whole thing while still pedaling and got a couple E-4 errors. Eventually stopped pedaling, got enough blood, got the 1.6 and called it. Definitely got better at it as I went though. I’m a lot more confident in the later samples than I am in some of the earlier ones just because I actually started to figure out what I was doing. By the end I felt a hell of a lot more comfortable than I did on that first sample. The plan is eventually to move to the ear and get comfortable enough with this that I can bring it to the track and take samples during workouts without the whole thing turning into a 10-minute ordeal. A lot to learn, but this is gonna be fun😈

A deeply disturbing incident has come to light from Indore Airport, where a female passenger alleges that she was harassed and mistreated by an Air India staff member during what should have been a routine boarding process.
