India's focus on all-round and inclusive development is crucial for addressing pressing challenges like poverty while also preparing for future advancements. By balancing immediate needs with investments in futuristic sectors, the country is setting a foundation for sustainable growth. Implementing new reforms will not only enhance economic opportunities but also ensure that the benefits of progress are shared across all segments of society, fostering a more equitable and resilient nation. This holistic approach is essential for building a brighter future for all Indians.

I was on CNN yesterday, to affirm that Nigeria is a tolerant, multi-religious country confronting security challenges and extremism which we are working very hard to overcome—and we are making progress.

India is working on futuristic sectors to power growth and self-reliance. We are going to start a National Deepwater Exploration Mission to harness the potential in this sector. We will also be increasing our efforts in critical minerals.

#WATCH | Mumbai, Maharashtra: Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand says, "...I am so happy to be here in India, in Mumbai today. The main message that Canada is bringing to India is that we are here to elevate the relationship with India. We have a focus on domestic public security in Canada and at the same time, we are working to strengthen the economic relationship with India across various sectors, which include AI, energy, agriculture and agro-food, climate and environmental sustainability, as well as people-to-people and business-to-business ties. This is a comprehensive final statement that we released yesterday, and we look forward to working with India in the next iterations of the Canada-India relationship. But as I said, there are two main priorities - public safety at home and economic relationship."

Housing. It’s what we are all dreaming about, thinking and talking about. It’s what you are working towards, and that's good, because it is what we are working to build for you! In Catherine Estates, we have built homes at affordable price points, and we are working to build even more because we want you to have the homes you have long been dreaming of. These starter homes have ample land space and come with pre-approved plans for you to expand when you are ready. The demand is great, I know, but we are up to the task and we will keep building homes for you.

Together, we are scripting a new chapter of progress and welfare for 6.5 Crore Kannadigas. We are tirelessly working towards fulfilling our 5 solemn guarantees, all of which are in advanced stages of implementation. A historic mandate, also brings in a huge responsibility. We are confident that the people of Karnataka will also repose their faith in the Congress party in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Karnataka trusts our welfare oriented governance and development paradigm.

Europe and Mediterranean partners are reaching for the same goals: peace, better lives for our people, and a chance at progress. By working together as equals, we can achieve these objectives through stronger partnerships and far more cooperation. This is what our new Pact for the Mediterranean is all about.
