First teach truck drivers not to come in right lane the almost 90% of road accidents can be avoided

Left most lane always crowded, truck and heavy vehicle goes to the right most for safety and to save time. This is why 90% heavy vehicles on 3rd lane.

3 lanes or 10 Indian Truck Drivers will always drive in the Rightmost lane ! It all boils down to awareness enforcement and penal actions Nothing else will work !

Trucks drive in the middle and right lanes only. Left lane is mostly empty on which the famous flashing headlight Speedo thar and creta boys overtake everyone.

What are you talking about? There are 7 to 8 lanes. Left, left - middle, middle, middle - right and right. Then there is left - dirt and return path for wrong way.

Come in Bareilly and you will find that one lane is for truck parking, second lane for opposite side driving and third lane for pedestrian and if you find any space in between then drive.

Bullshit video. Slow moving heavy vehicles should move from middle lane. The cars can overtake from right or left, if left is clear.

A lot of things to be taught. I see heavy fines the only way. - Lane discipline, turning with indicators, keeping side view mirrors unfolded - Not maintaining speed in the lanes - Immediate stopping and U Turning - Overloading of trucks - Tail / Head Lights not working

In our state, while vehicles are moving on the roads, people run around like animals. E-rickshaws are being driven recklessly like wild beasts. Massive trucks speed by at alarming rates. Meanwhile, the (DM) Sahib turns a blind eye. The entire district has been ruined.

Thank goodness, someone made it simple for Indian drivers. People don’t seems to know why these many lanes are there.

Biggest assignment for India. Make footpaths encroachment free so pedestrians don’t have up walk on the left lane. Clear vehicles parked on left lane heavily for obstruction of traffic. Penalty 15k, 30k, 50k eventually cancellation of RC & seize vehicles. Then lane discipline.

Great initiative, please draw proper marking on the road as well. So that our authorities feel need to draw it and people learn to understand those.

This illustration itself is wrong, one cannot overtake it there is solid white line.

What is stopping @NHAI_Official from broadcasting these kinds of videos on every possible channel—TV, YouTube—for the next 6 months to raise awareness among the Indian public, @nitin_gadkari? They should allocate 5–10% of their budget to road safety awareness.

In ghat sections - especially mumbai -pune express way, all 3 lanes are for trucks. Nitin Gadkari should declare this rule as official now.

@JagdeepDESAI9 The problem is Indian by habit would only follow this if there is an enforcer. The traffic enforcers are not bothered to correct the drivers so traffic drives thru the easiest path available

Unfortunately These rules are on paper only. Hardly 0.0000001 % people fall it....

Left lane side road is always the first to deteriorate, plus there is danger of animals, and vegetation comes in the left lane. We need better maintenance of infrastructure to implement this. P.S- I'm not a truck driver or anyway related to them. Personal opinion.

Seems like these rules are made by someone who never drove any vehicle. Heavy vehicles are hard to control if anything appears suddenly in front, which left lane will frequently. Heavy vehicles should be in mid-lane. Overtake can be done from all sides, but right is better.

So in India, there are no rickshaws, push carts, cycles, bikes. Tractors, cows, goats, dogs, pedestrians, vehicles coming from other directions, no life threatening craters, no illegal parkings on road, and completely scientific exit systems etc etc. Wishful thinking at its peak
