“India tests Agni-V (ICBM) again.” Prestige, escalation dominance, and power projection, not security, are the primary objectives that India aspires for. India, under such dangerous strategic hubris, is seeking more adversaries in the international system. Arguably, it now clearly threatens the US, Canada, Europe, and the entire American Continent with its increasing long-range missiles. Yet the international community is silent about this, which, to everyone’s surprise, raises many questions. For obvious geopolitical and economic reasons, the Western powers are quick to pinpoint the non-existent Pakistan’s development of long-range (i.e., ICBMs) while completely ignoring India, which in reality has been blatantly increasing its range beyond the security imperative both on land and at sea. Surely, this was pointed out by the US Deputy Under Secretary Jon Finer, Vipin Narang some time ago in Foreign Affairs, and, more recently, a similar non-existent imperative regarding Pakistan was uttered by Tulsi Gabbard in testimony. India’s long-range missile capability (ICBMs) is fueling the arms race and broader strategic instability. It's India's first indigenous modular kit that turns unguided bombs into precision-guided, extended-range stand-off munitions.
