It's not random city in Mexico, it's a major tourist destination in the 7th largest city in Mexico. Why are you not showing the favelas and areas in Mexico ruled by violent cartels? If cherry-picking was an Olympic sport, you would definitely win a gold medal for America.

My previous company'd tell those travelling to MX or Brazil to not get out of the hotel after 6pm without informing the local office, for safety. Indian cities might be crammed, disorganized and chaotic, but they are a 1000 times better than any Latin American city.

Not correct. Mexico has lovely people and a wonderful culture. I visited in 2010, it was apparently 200 years since Mexican independence. My only thought was please let India not be stuck like Mexico 200 yrs after independence.

Comparing the worst part of one city to the nicer part of another city is not a logical comparison.

Hmm I get that our cities aren't exactly aesthetic. But that's the city centre of Mexico's cultural capital Guadalajara.

Indians are blinded by GDP which is not at a measure of quality of life for lower 80% of the population. In India's case even lower 90%-95% of the pop., remember only 5% of India's population is even wealthy enough to file taxes. So most countries seem poor to Indians.

I will never ever think about India turning into lawless Mexico. Where drug cartels have army of their own slautering ppl not by hundreds but thousands. India is far far better

"Mexico....cleaning toilets" Inferiority-complex driven seethe among indians (Hindus) is literally truly unique. No other people project their internal humiliations & defeatism outside so blatantly. Im 1000% sure he knows Mexico > VishwaShithole in *EVERY* way & yet he copes 😭

The left one is not certainly deliberately selected and it has Apple so definitely Silicon Valley.

The Bangalore video was shooted in a marketplace where middle-class and lower middle class purchase their groceries. Whereas the Mexican video was shot near a landmark/tourist spot. Not a fair comparison. Even if it is a fair comparison,I know that Mexico is cleaner than India

Mexico GDP per capita $13,800 (nominal), $25,000 (PPP). India $2,600 (nominal), $9,200 (PPP). India’s growth rate is higher, if that trajectory continues situation will be different in next 10-15 years

Invalid argument. Almost in the entirety, all countries have some places like this. Some have less some have more. By comparison people should improve their lifestyle and the Govt should act accordingly. This looks similar to many Indian cities

Once you said if cables, cars removed and pedestrians are there Indian cities will look like European cities. I see least car, more pedestrians with pavement in that video of India's silicon city. I thought it will look like European city as you said. 🤣

Living standards of Latin American nations are marginally better than that of India undoubtedly. But the amount of possible improvement in our life is not even worth the efforts to be taken in order to migrate there.

That exists in every country on the planet. KR Market has always been like that; it is an old part of the city, including areas in Shivajinagar and Shantinagar.

Once I visited Ciudad Juarez, and I received 9 alerts and advisories from my travel planner American Express to make sure I stay within 500 ft of my hotel, not go out after 4:30pm and before 10:00am, and avoid any area which takes me upwards from the city center, reason rampant kidnapping of US citizens and gangwars amongst drug peddlers. So you can duck your random mexican city up your arse.

Nonsense, Mexico is so full of crime that you can't take a local bus without the fear of being robbed/mugged. There is no comparison, Bengaluru is far better....

Forget Mexico. Go to any advanced city - Chicago, New York, LA , Shanghai, Honk Kong, I can show you areas worse than this. That doesn’t mean that Indian cities are better, just that your comparison is bone headed

Such a less "developed place" with strong sense of community and less crime is always welcome. Yes, the infrastructure isn't ideal but there are certain conveniences.
