Wiki: Mount Merapi, Gunung Merapi (literally Fire Mountain in Indonesian and Javanese), is an active stratovolcano on the border between Central Java and the Special Region of Yogyakarta, Indonesia. It is the most active volcano in Indonesia and has erupted regularly since 1548.

I climbed this in my youth with my best friend, We slept on top of it overnight. Must of been bonkers mad. But will always remember the experience. It was absolutely stunning. Have loved volcanoes since childhood.
