Industrial software doesn’t have to feel like industrial software Manage warehouses like you’re playing a strategy game Built with Opus 5.5

As much as this looks great and I enjoy it… the first visual glitch that disrupts logistics for hours or boomer that needs to be trained on this and you’ll see why UIs like this are not used for real world controls

I’m thinking of adding more features to this, so there’ll be more updates soon.

There’s a lot you can borrow from strategy games and bring into industrial software.

Here’s a map interaction mechanic from the Total War games that could also work really well in map-based apps.

enterprise software is just a strategy game designed by someone who hates fun

needs a mode for loading dock workers to stand around complaining about their ex-wives

imagine a world where we play games, but those games are the actual work translated into the physical world. Right, kinda like Enders Game but errr without all that. We'd have so many people working lmao

Is it practical tho

Watching on-time delivery stay near 96% while seeing all the trucks move around the warehouses is quite satisfying. Managing a dock like a strategy game is actually a clever idea. Would love to see how you build upon this idea.

Phenomenal job, congrats! I was actually thinking of something similar for a manufacturing facility where you can just click on the machines and see their stats, read parameters etc. Would you share some more details, such as the tech stack, tools you've used or the workflow you followed etc?

This is the future of software, totally custom

Game developers will rule the world.

A “what needs attention?” overlay feels like a great next feature: blocked aisles, delayed picks, low stock. Click a hotspot and jump straight to the task. The strategy-game metaphor has room for some useful shortcuts.

add a layoffs button 🙏🙏🙏

I need prompt :)

Is this palantir for zoomers

This is what I'm talking about. These tools raise the bar for craftsmanship. Buildddddd. No excuses for shitty software. A cleanse is coming.

@Iamkingsleyf As a fully recovered Football Manager additct, this would make me relapse 😂😂😂

@psyhiris been working on something similar but the architecture is really different, distributed system rather than a monolith

This looks incredibly clean! As someone just starting out, what tools or frameworks did you use alongside Opus 5.5 to get this kind of 3D aesthetic?

Games solved "show a thousand moving things at a glance" decades ago, and enterprise dashboards never borrowed it. Did Opus come up with the game-style UI, or did you sketch it first?

Can you help me learn, How did you build this?

This is so amazing and detailed at the same time. Is there some place I can play around with it?

This is very cool. I wanted to make this years ago, at the time felt nearly impossiy

Roughly how long did it take and how many times did you pay for more tokens outside the limits daily or weekly limit? Just trying to get a baseline.

What's the idea around this? is there an integration with the physical vehicles or what? Just genuinely curious boss

I like this framing. Game-inspired feedback can make status and next actions easier to scan, as long as it maps to the real work and doesn't obscure the operational detail people rely on.

Add a mini game for setting a WMS up and we’re set.

what the genius!

This is lovely 😊

This is amazing !

That's super cool

Sure, let’s spend resources on useless animated cars.

Looking great! well polished!

Every warehouse is one missed shipment away from a rage quit.

In which language to you develop it ?
