Today’s MLB players are softer than baby 💩💩💩 Who remembers a time when the sole purpose of the lead base runner was to prevent the second baseman from turning the DP by any means possible? I still have a scar on my shin from the time Paul Molitor spiked me on a play similar to this! I remember Kirk Gibson sounding like a freight train coming in to break up a DP! I remember Mark Whitten starting his slide a foot from the base! I remember Albert Bell never even sliding and running straight through the base!
