What if… the government aquires all the bitcoin and there will be no more bitcoin left for ordinary people to own? Asking for a friend

If you think that that is even a remote possibility you should be buying Bitcoin right now. There are over 50 million millionaires in the world and only 21 million Bitcoin. 1) Which government are you talking about? 2) 19+ million of the total 21 million Bitcoin are already out in the world, owned by people all over the world, and much of it is in cold storage and held by people who aren’t selling anytime soon. Governments buying Bitcoin would make demand (and thus price) explode until it reached a point where the value got so high that some of those holding would sell. There is more that could be said, but that’s a start.
