From what I read it was £16.5M rising to £25 if performance clauses are met (I would be confident that they will be - still a bargain) and Boro have some sort of sell on clause. Hopefully he smashes it and Real Madrid sign him for £120M. #UTB

Rolls Royce of a player, the George goal is all him, played a positive pass, got intercepted and he kept driving forward to win it back... really really impressed, he's more than ready for this leaugue.

Maybe biased as a Boro fan,I can’t understand how he isn’t starting. Starts first game & you won 2-0, second game on off the bench 1-0 down & he prevented it going 2-0 before you equalised. Then changes the game against Utd. You scored 5 & conceded 1 when he’s been on the pitch.

Love his desire to drive fwd and his attitude looks great! Looking forward to seeing him more throughout the season.

Good attitude . No sulking about being left out but determined to make a difference when he came on and he certainly achieved that.

Thought he was excellent when he came on. Always positive and looking to pass/run forwards whenever he got the ball rather than go sideways and backwards like other players do. Think he will only get better for us 👏

Very! This kid can play and has got to start every week. Easily the most in-form midfielder and makes a difference every game.
