The suspect left the store and was last seen walking northbound toward East Colfax Avenue. The suspect is described as a Latino man, approximately 45 years old, with a heavy build and a gray mustache. On the date of the crime, he was wearing a blue beanie, sunglasses, black hoody, blue pants, one black glove, one gray glove and a black Nike backpack. Investigators believe the suspect frequents the area of East Colfax Avenue and Havana Street. Detectives have spoken with several people in the area who are familiar with the suspect, but don’t know his name. Anyone with any information about the suspect, his name or his location is asked to contact MetroDenverCrimeStoppers at 720.913.STOP (7867). Tipsters can remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.
