Canton processes $​9T+ in monthly settlement volume. 600+ institutions including JPMorgan, DTCC, Goldman Sachs, Broadridge, and Visa run production operations on it. Until Zenith, the only way to access that ecosystem as a developer was to learn Daml, a powerful language purpose-built for institutional contracts and entirely unfamiliar to most of the developer community that built DeFi. Zenith brings EVM execution to Canton Network with SVM coming next. Existing Solidity applications deploy on Canton without a single line of code changed. Hardhat, Foundry, MetaMask, the full Ethereum developer toolkit works exactly as expected. Every EVM transaction routes natively through Canton's Global Synchronizer, composing atomically with Daml-native contracts, tokenized assets, and institutional workflows already live on the network. This isn't EVM compatibility layered on top of Canton through a bridge or a separate settlement mechanism, it's native execution inside Canton's own consensus, both the EVM leg and the Canton leg of every transaction committing simultaneously, with Canton's determinism guarantees maintained and no additional trust assumptions introduced.
