I spoke in Parliament on the Deportation of Indians by the USA. I raised critical concerns regarding the impact of the Trump Administration's decisions on Indian citizens and posed pressing questions to our Union Government: 🔸Did the MEA (Ministry of External Affairs) protest the against the inhumane treatment faced by Indian deportees during their detention and deportation process? 🔸The Colombian government dispatched their own aircraft to ensure the dignified return of their deported citizens from the US. Why did the Indian Govt fail to take similar action? 🔸Why did the flight carrying deported Indian citizens land in Amritsar, despite it carrying individuals from various states across India? What was the rationale behind this decision? 🔸What steps is the government taking to address the potential cancellation of visas and the increasing risk of deportations? How does the government plan to support the reintegration of these individuals, particularly in terms of employment opportunities?
