Good move for the Cubs!

Not a very Jed-like move but I wonder if him nearing the end of his contract kind of pushed him to do this. Either way, I'm on board. Cubs needed a superstar.

This deal only makes sense to me if 2 things happen. They either extend him or they add a lot more than Tucker to their offense. If they don’t do either of those then it’s a bad deal. As is I don’t think the Cubs are a contender. A decent club but not serious contenders

Not WS contenders, but I think this will jump-start some other moves. The NL Central is definitely up for grabs. Tucker immediately becomes the best position player in the division (I know Elly fans might disagree, but he needs more refining)

@ChrisRose ... Rosey what do the Orioles need to do... Rubenstein and Elias can't sit on their hands and expect changes especially if they lose Burnes... Is Baltimore not going all in or is Elias trying to build an anti dodger/Yankee model. At some point they need to spend money
