The management lost trust in me when i lost the Telkom Cup final against Kaizer Chiefs in December. I was in my final season of the contract. They kept saying,'we will have a meeting and talk about the future.' January came, they kept selling the same story. They kept saying the Chairman will meet you. Time went by with no meeting. I then heard that they signed a precontract with Julio Leal [in December] whilst I was still coaching. I decided to leave because my life is not Orlando Pirates. I wanted to win the Champions League with #OrlandoPirates. Pity that I went to win CAFCC title in Tunisia [with CS Sfaxien]. I wanted to win it with Orlando Pirates. I had good squad.

MANQOBA MNGQITHI Next season, Golden Arrows will be a team you have never seen before. You will even doubt yourselves that you are part of that team. My biggest dream is to win a League title with a small team. I want Golden Arrows to win the PSL league trophy next season. I have done something like that before. I should have gone to Kaizer Chiefs, but Sundowns wanted me too. I looked at them & saw that they last won the league 7 Years ago. I said may be this is the opportunity to learn to win a trophy and league with a team that is hungry and never won anything for almost a decade I went in and left Sundowns with over 19 trophies. That's what I want from Golden Arrows. I have 9 league titles. I want you guys to give me a 10th one. I don't want to get it from Orlando Pirates or Kaizer Chiefs. I want it from you, the small team. I want you to fight very hard & stop playing for salaries and bonuses. Fight for your life

DOCTOR KHUMALO I am heavily criticized for supporting Sundowns to win the league Sundowns is the best thing since the sliced bread. I didnt mean Pirates mustn't celebrate for being on top of PSL log. I was just saying they must keep the noise low. Their wins have nothing to do with their good football. They came because of a struggling Sundowns.
