I am gonna piss a lot of guys here, but the reason they say they prefer natural to fake girls is just an ego response to the insecurity these fake women make them feel. The biggest culprits of it in my experience are French guys who will settle with a hairy armpit orangutan and still shit on the fake girls. Funnily enough I brought one to a bunch of them and they were all puppy dogs, even though some had girlfriends. Like the experience the guy says in that video. The same as women who will say that they don’t like guys with sleeve or neck tattoos. Guess what, they slept with one or more of them before settling for your ass. These are just stories people tell themselves for the choices they have made. Femininity and masculinity traits or signals attract beyond the consciousness, and the response people have towards them is more an indicator of their past than what they truly respond to.

Great Engineers are Also Artists. “I characterize art as something that is done for its own sake, and done well, and often creates a sense of beauty or some strong emotion. And a lot of engineers are introverts. As an aside, I hate the term “incel.” It’s just a way of putting introverts down. It’s the new “nerd,” if you will. If someone says that somebody is an incel, I’m more likely to want to interview them. So let’s move away from the slurs. But introverts tend to want to express themselves through other things rather than going out and expressing themselves directly. So what are they going to do? They’re going to express themselves through their craft. They’re going to create art. In my current company, at least half the engineers have serious artwork they’ve done on the side. World-class artwork—everything from elegant mathematical proofs to beautiful computer art, to literally sculpting things with clay, designing clothing, designing doorknobs, water bottles. There’s one who’s done incredible music videos, really good stuff. And I see a lot of the better engineers tinker with the AI art products, much more so than even so-called artists do. I think a lot of artists are scared by AI art products saying, “This is going to replace me.” Whereas someone who doesn’t have that identity of an artist and doesn’t feel threatened by it—it’s just a tool and they try it out to see what it can create. Anything done for its own sake and done as well as one possibly can is art. And great engineers are also artists. They’re capable of anything. It’s just they’ve chosen to be engineers and focused on building things because engineering is the ability to turn your ideas and your art into things that actually work, that do something useful, that embody some knowledge in a way that it can be repeated and people can get utility out of it. But that doesn’t mean that it can’t be beautiful.”

You guys remember when the devs and “fans” decided the Broodmothers were too upsetting and just removed them entirely? In Dragon Age: Origins, they exist for a reason. Broodmothers are how darkspawn reproduce—women of different races are captured, force-fed tainted flesh, and turned into these horrific, bloated creatures that birth new darkspawn. Humans, elves, dwarves, even Qunari all produce different types—hurlocks, genlocks, shrieks, ogres. And the game doesn’t just tell you—it shows you. That entire Deep Roads sequence? The lead-up to Hespith, the tainted dwarf, reciting that poem as you go deeper: “First day, they come and catch everyone…” It’s slow, it’s unsettling, and it builds into the reveal of what Broodmothers actually are. It’s one of the most effective horror moments in the entire series because it forces you to understand what the taint does to people. Darkspawn aren’t just enemies. They’re the end result of complete physical and psychological violation. That’s what makes them terrifying. That’s what makes the taint feel like an actual existential horror. And now it’s just… darkspawn spawning from some vague pool in the ground? You took one of the most disturbing, intentional pieces of worldbuilding—something that defined how monstrous the darkspawn are—and replaced it with something completely sanitized.

Yunjin talks about her favourite quote “Have enough courage to trust love one more time and always one more time” — Maya Angelou I've actually met a lot of like the most important people in my life right now, one of the biggest lessons that they've taught me is that you should always give people a second chance, because people are capable of change. And if you nurture them and give them the right environment to flourish, then they can really become anything. And I think that's a very important thing to realize the more that you get older, because it's really easy to limit yourself and limit others and be like, oh no, that's just the way they are. They will never change and, you know, I shouldn't even try to get them to change because that's just how they are and they're gonna stay like that forever. Because that, I feel like kind of makes it really easy for you to get really apathetic and not really care about things that maybe we should be caring about, like helping each other grow as people and, you know, trusting humanity.

The scary part is that Stephen A Smith strong suit is supposed to be basketball. It’s just embarrassing. This is the guy you give all this money to and he doesn’t even know the basic facts about a team. ESPN can sit here all day and tell me his ratings. People are “hate watching”. Or even worse, they are watching to mock how bad it is. It’s akin to the later years of Mike Francesa at WFAN. Where people watched to hear the crank calls or to watch him falling asleep at the mic. It’s getting to that level of bad for ESPN when it comes to SAS. I don’t know anybody that watches him because they think they are getting anything substantive out of him. And that isn’t sustainable. I say it all the time. People don’t know what they like, they like what they know. Not. One. Person.
