They’ll be $300 and that handle wouldn’t last long

This is neat, but it looks like they’re trying to solve something that isn’t a problem.

Couldn't they just make the handles as attachment instead of the whole barrel?

Cool. Bet those handles are the first to break.

That mechanism will be the point of failure…

30 seconds in fusion, congrats now they convert any wheel barrow in existence.

I'd pay extra for a wheelbarrow that DOESN'T do that.

Great way to snap your wrist or break fingers if you lose your balance and can't yank your hands out fast enough.

Having done my time running these as a kid on jobsites, the thing that needs alteration is the ability for the wheel to mount obstacles. Tipping was never a problem. Especially when that crossbar in front of the wheel hits something when moving a load of wet cement.

invented by someone who's never had to dump a wheel barrow sideways i guess.

I mean... i never had an issue with the handle design. My problem is the wheel always goes flat.

Enjoy sticking your fingers into a spider's nest every time you have to use your wheelbarrow. I don't even see what use are the bowls around the handles?

dried concrete will be an issue if you like your fingers

hi gardener here this is dookie just use a normal barrel those are waiting to just break off

They solved problem, that didn't exist, cool! Meanwhile in Czechia:

Oh look, another part to maintain or it will rust. Nothing like sticking your hands in a steel cup full of snow and water to start hauling material around.

Fitting through spaces would be a pain, also couldn’t leave it outside the hand area would fill with water and gunk, after a week of use it would be nasty to put your hands in there. Maybe for a homeowner little jobs but not daily use shit shovling.

No joke the wheelbarrow my dad made me use was all steel. Wheel, handles all of it. It was so heavy, then when loaded even heavier. We got along when I was an adult but when I was a kid my dad was a jerk.

engineers will reinvent the wheel but never the wheelbarrow and honestly thats progress.

About as necessary as a screen door on a submarine

Now put something in it and check the strain on your wrists

That will make a great mosquito nest once anything plugs up the self righting handles drain hole. No thanks

Now try it wearing work gloves.

unnecessary cost and complexity to a thing that's already been essentially peak design for decades.

I will give you th $250,000 but for 40% of your company

oh look, more shit to break on a wheelbarrow, just what the world needs... 🤔

That'll break in no time.

Now this wheelbarrow has 4 week points, the whole weight will pivot in this small 4 ribets which sooner than later it will break one of them because of the friction

All the things that could be improved on the wheelbarrow design and they pick this? Someone’s fingers are getting pinched in that fucker.

Welds are shit. Will rust. Get hot in the sun. And requires extra wrist control to maintain orientation.

Topic of the day.

@SoquelCreek Okay now show it dumping concrete vs a regular handle utilizing a stopwatch ⏱️ as a reason to buy.

What's the weight capacity of those cute hinges? Can it handle the same stresses that a classic wheelbarrow can?

Nice design, but I wouldn’t want any concrete in those swivel pieces
