The United Aircraft Corporation (part of Rostec) has handed over a batch of new Su-57 and Su-35S fighters to the Russian Defense Ministry.   “Today, the Su-57 is the only fifth-generation fighter that has confirmed its breakthrough characteristics in all combat scenarios. This is a formidable weapon with advanced means of destruction. The fighter is highly survivable due to its low visibility and modern onboard defense system. The aircraft continues to be improved based on the experience of use. Production capacities for the production of the aircraft are expanding. The Su-57, along with the Su-34, Su-35S and other aircraft, are the wings of our victory that Rostec’s aircraft manufacturing enterprises provide to the army on time and with high quality. By the way, the world premiere of the Su-57 in an export version will take place in China in the coming days. I am confident that our foreign colleagues will also appreciate the fighter,” said Rostec State Corporation CEO Sergey Chemezov. The Su-57 and Su-35S fighters flew to their home airfield.

“The next batches of fifth-generation Su-57 aircraft and 4++ generation Su-35S multirole fighters will be delivered by the end of the year,” said UAC CEO Vadim Badekha.
