Waterworld's flooded world concept is still one of the most creative and visually striking setups in 90s cinema. That clip perfectly captures the desperation and scale of the story, Kevin Costner fighting for dirt in a sea of nothing. Underrated gem that deserved better.

Kevin Costner out here defending a handful of dirt like it's the last Bitcoin in a flooded apocalypse Mad Max on jet skis was ahead of its time. Still one of the most insane concepts ever. Needs that modern VFX reboot ASAP!
