So a few years ago at the height of releasing my covid era protest tunes, Wikipedia deleted my page and just about every mention of Five Times August on their platform shortly after the song "Sad Little Man" came out. This morning I woke to the news... I exist again! 😝 It never should have happened in the first place and Wikipedia still needs a serious overhaul. But it feels good to have won this battle. Super grateful to those who fought for me on this and helped get the page back up. 🙏

Cold plunge in the rain 🍁 Most of the time, when I push myself, whether through a workout or by embracing the cold, it’s with the goal of physical health and bio-optimization in mind. The grind, the discipline, the measurable progress, it’s all about improving the body and mind. But there’s another layer to these moments, one that transcends health metrics. Some of my favorite experiences come from stepping outside with no other intention but to fully immerse myself in the raw beauty of nature and connect with the elements. There’s something magical about feeling the cold rain on your skin, the crisp air filling your lungs, and the rhythm of the earth around you. It’s a reminder that sometimes, the greatest benefits aren’t the ones we measure… they’re the ones we feel when we’re fully present, alive, and connected to the elements around us. The new Product Page Header image in the App Store will not matter. First you need users to actually want to enter your App Store listing. And the reality is that a lot of users NEVER enter the listing. They search for something, see the app in the search results and download it directly from there. So the important update here is the new Search Results image. It's an app banner inside the App Store search results. And you should think about it as a persuasive ad. COPYWRITING will be what matters. Not the fancy "branding". Users are searching because they want an answer to something. Your creative needs to give them that answer immediately. And this becomes even more important with Apple Ads. You can pay to appear for the keyword, but your creative still needs to convince the user that your app is the answer they were searching for.

Another fed-up NYC resident is calling out the disgusting reality on his doorstep, posting a video of his neighborhood buried in trash, plagued by open-air drug hangouts and writes: “Every fucking day I walk to work and I'm seeing used needles all over the streets. This shit is getting ridiculous. People have kids walking through these same areas, people going to work, families living here — nobody should have to worry about stepping on a dirty needle just walking down the block. Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani this needs attention. We deserve clean and sate streets, not needles and drug paraphernalia everywhere. I got video too, this isn't an exaggeration.” Maybe, just maybe, if people actually started facing consequences for littering and turning NYC streets into dangerous landfills, we might finally see some progress and cleaner streets. But until then, this will continue.

Every now and then, you hear something that snaps the reality of a situation into sharp focus. I don’t enjoy engaging in drama, but I do pay attention to what people say. Here, Candace Owens says something that not only exposes her ignorance but also reveals she shares a fundamental flaw with the left: the inability to grasp what true evil is capable of. For the record, what she dismisses as “unbelievable” was a well-documented practice in both Nazi and Japanese experimental camps known as “vivisections.” The horrific procedures—surgical operations on live, often unanesthetized human subjects, were conducted for “medical research.” In fact, modern medicine kept these records, and much of it led to future, (and obviously more ethical) medical research. It is a widely known rule to not actually cite them due to ethical concerns, but they are still used. The Nazis’ actions were meticulously recorded by the perpetrators themselves and discussed extensively during the Nuremberg Trials. Unit 731’s atrocities were equally well-documented, in the Khabarovsk Trials, though less widely discussed in the West. Candace, however, seems fixated on dismissing atrocities as “propaganda,” claiming no one would commit such acts because they “serve no purpose.” If she believes that, I recommend she read about Unit 731 to understand the depths of evil and depravity possible when humanity is abandoned in the name of “research.” The horrors of the 1st division and Dr. Yoshimura’s experiments should be enough. OMG!!! May ganitong moment pala si Dustin with Direk Mae. Nakikita ko lang to Dati with her and Joshua Garcia. Konti man ang pakilig ng DB scenes sa LYSB, I will forever stand by what I said...I’m grateful this movie chose to highlight Dustin’s acting range. Hearing Direk Mae say that Dustin was great, that every emotion he showed was real, speaks volumes. Directors don’t say that lightly. They say it when an actor gives more than what was asked..when the emotions don’t feel acted, but lived. That alone is more than enough reason for me to believe he was right to say YES to this project. I’ve always said my prayer for Dustin is simple..that he works with people in this industry who will challenge and teach him. LYSB gave him that space... and you can see how it shaped him. This is the kind of project that doesn’t just add to a filmography... It builds an actor. And Dustin? He showed that he’s here not just to be seen, but to be taken seriously. I’m proud. I’m grateful. And I’m excited for what’s next...because this is only the beginning of something bigger. #DUSTBIA #DUSTINYU #BIANCADEVERA

Watching this reminded me of my first job in America - a server in one of the casino buffets. Our buffet was famous with the crab legs. The only thing I could eat in this American buffet was the crab legs with hot butter and carrot cake. I even got wrote up for eating a carrot cake. Not only that I signed the paper but I also admitted for eating the carrot cake. When the director of the food department of the casino wrote my note, he asked my manager if I was trying to be a smart 8ss. My manager said: Nope. She always say what she thinks. On the next day the director passes through my station and wishes me a good day and says my name. I was sooo… smacked on the head from surprise that the only thing I could say was: Ah, you know my name? He said: Of course I know your name. I was so shocked because I in general think I am invisible to people - stay on the side and observe. And for somebody to know my name, that means I didn’t do enough job hiding 🤦‍♀️😂😂😂 A lot of things happened at my first job and soon everybody knew who I am and what’s my name (for my horror) 😝 I could not adjust to the American culture and I would constantly retaliate against certain things that I would consider unjustice 😂 Now that I think about it, it’s hilarious. But back then, I was really miserable. MS will never be the state of my happiness.

This afternoon I point west… back across the Atlantic to Dallas. It’s been a while. There’s something quietly special about a North Atlantic crossing. On a map it looks simple, a straight line between continents. In reality, it’s anything but. Each day, a set of invisible highways is drawn across the ocean: the North Atlantic Track (NAT) system. These tracks aren’t permanent. They move. Every 24 hours they’re rebuilt to align with the jet streams, eastbound flights riding the tailwinds for efficiency, westbound flights stepping north or south to avoid punishing headwinds. It’s choreography between aircraft and atmosphere. Instead of fixed airways, we fly along these daily-published tracks, spaced carefully to maintain separation in a sky with no radar coverage. Position reports, time estimates, datalink messages, precision layered over thousands of miles of water. It’s aviation at its purest: planning, physics, trust. Somewhere along that great circle route the sun will slip beneath the horizon ahead of us. And by early evening, local time, Texas. I’m looking forward to catching up with Doug Dunbar. Familiar laughter. And some properly done BBQ, the kind that requires patience measured in hours, not minutes. Brisket that yields rather than resists. Twelve months ago, this was my garage. Since then, I've: - Sold both sports cars - Reduced my monthly spending by $10k - Committed to doing 30% less of everything (travel, dining out, work, etc) And I feel so much lighter. This year, I decided to live life more slowly. Part of that decision was shedding things that were no longer serving me. Supercars gave me something that I needed. I grew up with the red Lamborghini poster on my wall. Owning these incredible machines meant that I had made it. That I was free. But eventually, the cars stopped feeling like freedom… and started feeling like weight. My friend Kevin Dahlstrom says that everything you own owns a piece of you. This year was all about letting go. And the reality is, I no longer need a supercar to remind me who I am. Here's the thing — I don't regret that season of my life. I had incredible experiences, made great friends, and will cherish those memories. Buy the ticket, take the ride. I want to experience everything life has to offer. But in the spirit of Marie Kondo, I can thank these objects for the role they played in my life, and release them with gratitude. Ultimately, it's not about the cars. Stuff, identities, beliefs, even past versions of ourselves are just temporary companions on the path. They serve a purpose for a season, teach us what they are meant to, and then we get to set them free when they no longer fit. Thank you for getting me here. Now I'm making room for what's next.

Right after the October 7 terrorist attacks, anarchist and hate groups in NYC went to work protesting and targeting Jewish houses of worship. I saw it happen repeatedly. One incident that stuck with me happened at Wall Street, where a memorial and museum had been set up for the victims of October 7. Anarchists protested directly at the entrance, yelling hateful slurs and anti-Israel hate speech. Family members of the victims trying to enter the memorial were cursed out and verbally abused. I visited the memorial myself and could smell the smoke inside and feel the attack. Another incident happened at Parkside East Synagogue, where anarchists stood at the gates yelling hateful slurs at Jewish worshippers as they entered. I was told an IAB investigation was launched into the handling of the protest, but nothing ever came out of it and eventually it went silent. Right after the Parkside East incident, former Mayor Eric Adams and a City Council member decided to push legislation to stop protesters from protesting directly in front of houses of worship, right as Adams was about to leave office. That CM claims to be a protector of the Jewish community, but in reality, it appears they sold the Jewish community out. The reality is they didn't need new legislation. All they needed was one phone call to the NYPD to push the protesters back and create a safe distance around houses of worship , but those calls were never made. Right after the legislation propaganda, Adams launched his memecoin, which he claimed would help fight antisemitism. The memecoin later crashed and investors lost their money and Jewish community was screwed again. There was also an incident in Crown Heights, in front of 770 Eastern Parkway, one of the most religiously significant Jewish holy places in New York City. Anarchists descended on the synagogue, yelling hateful slurs and attacking Jews. Thankfully, Jewish students fought back and pushed them away. I was then contacted by police sources who told me that someone in city hall allegedly ordered an investigation to find the Jewish students who pushed back and hold them accountable. Some in city hall told me that wasn't true, but people in high-ranking positions within the NYPD told me I was absolutely right and that two Jewish students were wanted. I repeatedly contacted Adams' team when anarchists protested in front of Jewish houses of worship begging them to do something I was ignored brushed off or giving some excuse. On one occasion , I was even told it was a federal issue lol But in reality a phone call could of pushed these anarchist group away from Jewish houses of worship. While I'll never agree with Mayor Zohran Mamdani's anti-Israel rhetoric, I believe he needs to stop. There are sick people who feed off this kind of rhetoric and act on it, as we've seen with recent attacks against the Jewish community. My family fought in the Six-Day War, and I still have family in the Israeli military, government, and intelligence. No amount of money, access, or clout could ever make me turn against my religion or nationality. I won't lie or sell out my community for anyone. You don't get win for this Eric.

Right after the October 7 terrorist attacks, anarchist and hate groups in NYC went to work protesting and targeting Jewish houses of worship. I saw it happen repeatedly. One incident that stuck with me happened at Wall Street, where a memorial and museum had been set up for the victims of October 7. Anarchists protested directly at the entrance, yelling hateful slurs and anti-Israel hate speech. Family members of the victims trying to enter the memorial were cursed out and verbally abused. I visited the memorial myself and could smell the smoke inside and feel the attack. Another incident happened at Parkside East Synagogue, where anarchists stood at the gates yelling hateful slurs at Jewish worshippers as they entered. I was told an IAB investigation was launched into the handling of the protest, but nothing ever came out of it and eventually it went silent. Right after the Parkside East incident, former Mayor Eric Adams and a City Council member decided to push legislation to stop protesters from protesting directly in front of houses of worship, right as Adams was about to leave office. That CM claims to be a protector of the Jewish community, but in reality, it appears they sold the Jewish community out. The reality is they didn't need new legislation. All they needed was one phone call to the NYPD to push the protesters back and create a safe distance around houses of worship , but those calls were never made. Right after the legislation propaganda, Adams launched his memecoin, which he claimed would help fight antisemitism. The memecoin later crashed and investors lost their money and Jewish community was screwed again. There was also an incident in Crown Heights, in front of 770 Eastern Parkway, one of the most religiously significant Jewish holy places in New York City. Anarchists descended on the synagogue, yelling hateful slurs and attacking Jews. Thankfully, Jewish students fought back and pushed them away. I was then contacted by police sources who told me that someone in city hall allegedly ordered an investigation to find the Jewish students who pushed back and hold them accountable. Some in city hall told me that wasn't true, but people in high-ranking positions within the NYPD told me I was absolutely right and that two Jewish students were wanted. I repeatedly contacted Adams' team when anarchists protested in front of Jewish houses of worship begging them to do something I was ignored brushed off or giving some excuse. On one occasion , I was even told it was a federal issue lol But in reality a phone call could of pushed these anarchist group away from Jewish houses of worship. While I'll never agree with Mayor Zohran Mamdani's anti-Israel rhetoric, I believe he needs to stop. There are sick people who feed off this kind of rhetoric and act on it, as we've seen with recent attacks against the Jewish community. I graduated!!! I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a concentration in Psychology, summa cum laude! Five years ago, I started this journey with an eighth-grade education, and even that was from a Scientology school, where critical thinking was discouraged and the quality of instruction was subpar, to say the least. I did not get here alone. Thank you to NYU School of Professional Studies and Angie Kamath. Thank you to everyone who supported me, encouraged me, and believed in me, especially on the days I was not sure I could do this. And there were plenty of those days. To my therapist, who told me not to give up when I was told I likely would not be accepted into a prestigious program. To my tutor, without whom I likely would have given up at the harder points along the way. To all those here who have sent me loving messages on social media. And to everyone else who has cheered me on in person through the ups and the downs of it, it means more than I can put into words. It got me over this finish line of being a student again and graduating. That goal once seemed impossible. To those who have asked me, “Why this? Why now?” I pursued higher education to reclaim a piece of myself. When you come out of a high-control group like Scientology, or even a high-control family, there are parts of you that were never allowed to fully develop. Those parts include your curiosity and your ability and right to question. Education was discouraged because knowledge creates confidence in your ability to trust your own mind and navigate the world. That leads to true independence, and that would never be allowed. I wanted that back. But more than that, I needed to understand. I needed to understand how my mother could have us join Scientology when I was just eight years old, and how my family and I could be part of something like this and stay in it for so long. I needed to understand how these systems work, how they influence people, and how they take hold. Without education, access to real information, and support, people can fall into systems that work against their best interests. Some assume that because they are educated, even highly educated, they would never fall for something like this. But it turns out that is not necessarily true. What many of us are impacted by, but never quite understand, is how high-control groups operate. Many still do not understand how misinformation spreads, and how tribalism and radicalization shape what we think, what we believe, and who and what we trust. Without that awareness, none of us are immune. Today, we are seeing how these forces can influence good people and distort reality. History has shown us that this is not new; it just comes in a different form now. Social media connects us in ways we never imagined, but it also creates echo chambers that reinforce beliefs and justify behavior without question. Real critical thinking is hard when we are fed so much by algorithms designed to appeal to us. In learning and achieving this milestone in my own life, it has helped me take a good, hard look at my own beliefs and ideologies. This journey was about healing for me, but also about figuring out how to help others in whatever way I can in the future. So what is in my future? I am considering continuing my education and possibly pursuing a master’s degree, with the goal of contributing to advocacy and policies that protect people, not systems. For now, I am taking this moment in. I am proud of myself. And I am grateful. Thank you for being on this journey with me.
