Inside an Amish kitchen.

My grandma used to Cook and preserve like this, out of her garden, into jars ,stored on the basement on shelves . Her stove was almost the same ,beautiful memories , there was always hot water

If only our friggin' ordinances would let me put my well back. It is there in the yard, I see it, but city ordinance will not let me reactivate it. (Curious, they let the septic tank (and all those costs to maintain it) remain with we homeowners.)

that’s actually what kitchens look like my grandma’s kitchen looked like that she had seller and that’s where all the canning jars were my mom and grandmother canned all summer long.

Wow. I didn’t know that my grandparents in northern Mexico had an Amish kitchen when we went to visit from Texas. Except their home walls were adobe! Small world.

Gotta laugh a little. I buy milk from an Amish farm & they have a phone on a pole outside their window to take orders, a Mennonite girl who runs their website & a huge gas generator in their cold house, along with solar powered electric fence. Their house though, NO electricity.

Love this really enjoy seeing their life style
